Empath's daughter as an baby, and Hefty's baby daughter in an Alternate Timeline, will become Hilarious in Hindsight as their appearance predicted an actual baby Smurfette in one official Smurfs media.
This make more sense, as they have been sharing the hair colors similar to their Mama Smurfette. However, The Smurfs 2021 TV series did have Smurfette turned into a baby in the episode "Smurfy Day Care".In an alternate timeline in "Papa Smurf & Mama Smurfette", Polaris already knew that Empath was right about the May–December Romance relationship between Papa Smurf and Smurfette, which Empath didn't approve of as natural.
He's just secretly checking and observing the relationship between the two, but he has kept it a secret. This results in Polaris getting exiled from the village along with Papa Smurf, Smurfette and their daughter. He finally admits that he observed that Papa Smurf allowed his amorous feelings for Smurfette to override his better judgement as both a leader and a father for far too long, after Papa Smurf slapped Sassette for daringly saying that maybe Empath was right in that Papa Smurf had stolen Smurfette from his little Smurfs, including Empath.The Smurfs (2021) two-part episode "The Pluffs!" is a Hilarious in Hindsight nod to the EMPATH story "Smurfed Behind: The Other Side of the Mirror".
And thus there's finally a canon Mirror Universe in The Smurfs, although it is Lighter and Softer.The only surviving Mirror Universe Smurf at the end of the EMPATH story "Smurfed Behind: The Other Side of the Mirror" was probably Wild Smurf.
