Be warned that, like all moments pages (including Wild Mass Guessing), Spoilers Off applies here!Anime

There will be a filler episode featuring a young hunter and an Appli Monster duo.
To tie it all together.

Pulsemon will appear as a partner Digimon.
The Vital Bracelet is very successful, and the fact that the three partner digimon for the first three tamers are getting their own DiM Cards for it means the creators are willing to tie the two together. Pulsemon could easily show up as the partner of the fourth tamer.

Jellymon is the Child-form of Ranamon and Calmaramon
The franchise has shown a willingness to rectify previous seasons which didn't follow the normal evolutionary levels (applying Child, Adult, etc levels to various Xros Wars mons) and bring unexpected characters back into the franchise (see Strabimon and Calmaramon herself making an appearance in Digimon Adventure:). It would make sense that Jellymon's Adult stage is Ranamon, her Perfect is Calmaramon, and her Ultimate would be the equivalent of the double-spirit.
  • Jossed before the character was even introduced, as the intro spoils the evo lines, names included. Jellymon's champion is TeslaJellymon.
    • Even so this would have been extremely surprising as no season has done this before. Even Savers gave Agumon technically all-new digivolutions.

Appmon will appear
Going hand in hand with the Adventure reboot adding a plethora of unexpected digimon, this anime will show Appmon side by side with other, more traditional Digimon and even work them into the evolutionary lines of each other.

Hokuto will turn out to have pulled a Suguru
We have a missing dad and a mysterious feline digimon that is clearly very intimately involved in the events. Blacktailmon is actually Hokuto Amanokawa or something similar.

Alternatively, BlackTailmon is Hokuto's partner Digimon
Perhaps BlackTailmon is acting on Hokuto's behalf, looking over Hiro with Hokuto being unable to.

Gammamon's Perfect level combines the power of all its Adult forms.
  • Confirmed. When Gammamon evolves, the color of light that appears during the transformation sequence corresponds to the Adult form that will emerge, either red, blue, or green. All three of these lights converge together when he takes on his Perfect form.

Mummymon will return
And after learning all about human medicine and biology, he'll help save the heroes by evolving into a new Digimon - perhaps DoctorMummymon?
  • Confirmed. Mummymon will reappear in Episode 23.

Jellymon’s pranks are the reason behind Kiyoshiro’s paranoia
Based on a bit of a lighter Paranoia Fuel, considering Angoramon’s been following Ruli for presumably a good amount of time, it’s possible that Jellymon might have been following Kiyoshiro for awhile as well, but more secretly… And possibly may be letting off her Troll nature to be messing with him, causing his paranoia of the supernatural in the first place.
  • Confirmed by episode 5.

Kiyoshiro's university degree is invalid.
He studied in a wrong school and as the result, his certificate is unrecognizable.
  • Likely jossed, since it's said the reason Kiyoshiro doesn't have to attend classes is because of his degree, and that his time at school more has to do with him being a pseudo Resident Advisor for the dorms.
  • Furthermore, in Episode 43 we get to see one of his classmates from his overseas University.

Kiyoshiro had some sort of alter ego / personality that he isn't aware of
I find it odd his personality turned 180 degrees after he fainted and woke up. Plus he said he didn't remember all of it.

Jellymon's attitude is going to get her slapped hard before the season comes to a close
And Kiyoshiro isn't going to do a thing to stop it.
  • Happens in the 8th episode, though not done by Kiyoshiro; Jellymon tells Sistermon Ciel to steal a kart (as its the fastest vehicle available), an action which eventually gets her and the rest of the main characters trapped in a life or death race against both Sistermon Ciel and MetalPhantomon.
  • Additionally, her habit of wandering off on her own against what the others have advised her also nearly gets her killed by Sealsdramon and sets off a chain of events leading to Bokomon's death.
  • One of her schemes, using a Pillomon to put humans to sleep, backfired when Pillomon began having a nightmare about SkullGreymon, nearly getting her, Kiyoshiro, Ruli, and Angoromon killed. What's worse is that Jellymon seemed to have learned NOTHING from the ordeal.

Hokuto knew GulusGammamon
Hokuto was the one who sent Gammamon to Hiro, so odds are that he's at least aware of Gammamon's evolutions. Heck, it's likely that Hokuto original met GulusGammamon first when he arrived to the Digital World, but something happened that caused GulusGammamon to either regressed back to Gammamon or turn into a Digitama. The reason Hokuto sent Gammamon to the real world, to Hiro, was because the real world would be safer to raise Gammamon than the Digital World, in order to prevent Gammamon to turning back into GulusGammamon.

There will be a fourth tamer with a Cyan-colored fire Digimon.
Gammamon's evolutions span the Red/Green/Blue color spectrum and have fire, electricity, and wind powers respectively. The evolution sequences of Angoramon and Jellymon feature them being hit with beams of yellow and magenta energy, leaving them with an incomplete secondary color spectrum of Cyan/Yellow/Magenta. SymbareAngoramon and TeslaJellymon also have wind and electricity powers akin to Kaus and Wezen, leaving Betel as the only flavor of Gammamon without a counterpart. All this plus Digimon's recurring habit of adding a Sixth Ranger later in the season.
  • Partially jossed. Espimon does join Hiro as reliable intel, but he's an Aloof Ally with no tamer.

Lucemon will appear
This is based on the opening. In it, the only Digimon to appear that aren't in silhouette are Gammamon (and his evolutions except GulusGammamon), Angoramon (SymbareAngoramon), Jellymon (TeslaJellymon), BlackTailmon Uver., and Lucemon (who's briefly seen running behind Kiyoshiro). Basically only Digimon that are important to the plot of the series appear in full, meaning there's a chance Lucemon will appear also, possibly as The Dragon to the Big Bad or even the Big Bad himself.

Ultimate (Perfect, not Mega) levels will be accessed when talking is no longer an option.
At some point, there will be a powerful (Ultimate-leveled), malicious Digimon who just can't be reasoned with.
  • While this does not happen with Archnemon, it's confirmed another Ultimate-leveled Digimon - BetelGammamon evolves into Canoweissmon for the first time when Vamdemon overpowers him.

GulusGammamon used to be the leader of a group of dark-colored Digimon
In his two appearances it is shown that a BlackAgumon and BlackGalgomon are watching him. Those two and possibly more Digimon are part of his group and are watching out for their leader while he is Gammamon.

GulusGammamon is waiting for Hiro to gain the will to kill
He was furious at him for not giving the order to kill Sealsdramon in episode 13, and (correctly) assumed that he never considered killing Archnemon in episode 21. GulusGammamon needs Hiro to come around to his way of thinking - that there are digimon who are too powerful and cruel to stay alive. The reason could be that there is a powerful digimon tormenting the digital world, and GulusGammamon wants to tap in to the power of a tamer in order to take them down. But even if Hiro falters a little, his morals will win out and he'll save the day by talking the Big Bad down just like so many others.
  • Somewhat confirmed in the fact that GulusGammamon's plans required Hiro to subscribe to his philosophy of "kill or be killed", but jossed for the reason. The apocalyptic Digimon that's tormenting the Digital World is GulusGammamon himself (through the spread of GRB particles, done as he was leaving the Digital World with Hokuto as Gammamon), and he seeks to gain further power through Hiro. Episode 67 throws some ambiguity in the situation as while GulusGammamon DOES mention a potentially apocalyptic threat that isn't him, but given how nonchalantly he acts while talking about it, he was most likely lying.

The destruction of the RMO-III satellite will become a future plot point
WezenGammamon firing at the satellite with his Albion attack had to have been seen by many people, as it happened in the real world. Furthermore, this shooting happened without knowledge or approval of officials, which could warrant an investigation that might lead back to the main characters.

Yuuto Takanashi will be a Sixth Ranger, and his partner will be a reincarnated Ajatarmon.
While there's no indication as of writing that he's anything more than a one-shot character, he is however explicitly given a surname unlike the others and noted to be a high schooler, not much older than the main trio. By the end of his debut episode, he's fully aware of the true nature of Digimon and the group have decided to keep in close contact with him. In her own screwed-up way, Ajatarmon showed that she truly did care for Yuuto - and if she's reborn, they would get the chance to start off on a better note than before.

Vamdemon will return, only to suffer the same fate as Dracmon.
He will serve under an even stronger Digimon (such as, for poetic karma, GranDracmon). But then he goes out of line when he meets the heroes, prompting his boss to kill him.

GulusGammamon has his own Perfect form.
An evil counterpart to Canoweissmon whom Hiro must accept to combine the powers of both Perfect levels to reach Mega/Ultimate.
  • Confirmed through the new Vital Bracelet BEM card: Regulusmon.
    • Further confirmed through the BEM's card promotional sheet revealing two Mega levels for Gammamon alongside Siriusmon: Arcturusmon and Proximamon.
      • Regulusmon appears for real in Episode 66 where it proceeds to fight on-par with a Bloomlordmon and practically one-shot Siriusmon.

By the end of this series, only Gammamon will reach Ultimate (Mega) level.
The basis of this guess is how the heroes have reached Perfect rather late (Lamortmon, the last to debut, appears at Ep. 35).
  • Potentially Jossed, both Angoramon and Jellymon's have been revealed due to promotional work: Diarbitmon and Amphimon.
    • Jossed for real as of episode 58, with Angoramon evolving into Diarbbitmon, and then Jellymon following suit with Amphimon in Episode 60.

Both Espimon and Ryudamon will partner with humans later on.
With both Espimon and Ryudamon having artwork drawn by Tenya Yabuno along with their own DiM cards, there's a chance there will be a Three Plus Two scenario played straight (for once) in a Digimon animated series. Espimon will cover the Cyan of the CYMK spectrum but will have Tron Lines as his motif. Ryudamon, in the meanwhile, will have violet flames as his motif, giving BetelGammamon a counterpart, as well as violet, filling in for the K (Black) in CYMK.

The Digimon aren't the "ghosts", the humans are
Every single human being is already dead, and the "real world" is all but a simulation. A recreation made by a few benign and sovereign digimon, in an effort to heal some of the damage caused by GulusGammamon when he invaded and destroyed the planet long ago, when the real Hiro died on him.

Spirit Evolution will be referenced in some form and it might even be a factor for the Sixth Ranger.
The themes of using the dead are literally written right there. Feels like a wasted opportunity if they weren't used in some form. The design of the Vital Bracelet differs from the previous digivices when you notice that they are not handhelds and require less dexterity to use, implying that non-human digimon can use them as well. Considering that Plot Armor doesn't seem to exist for humans in here, the Sixth Ranger debut might be the digimon partners themselves channeling their own emotions and power to their tamers in a desperate gamble to give them the power to protect themselves.

GulusGammamon achieved what Nanomon failed to do.
The Jet-Black Champion Regulusmon used to be feared throughout the Digital World, but at some point he was killed by someone/something, and was returned to a Digitama. That should have been the end of him, but somehow, he was able to retain part of who he used to be even after being reborn.

Regulusmon will arrive when Hiro decides to invoke a traditional Dark Evolution alongside Gammamon.
It could be possible that despite GulusGammamon seeming to be this season's usual Dark Evolution, his evolution to Regulusmon could be brought out when the Dark Evolution tradition is properly followed, with Hiro and Gammamon snapping in response to an enemy (Perhaps a very plot-related or personal one considering the result) pushing them way too far to the point that GulusGammamon emerges as Hiro intentionally works with him in order to utterly wipe out this foe, which then leads to the two properly syncing together and causing an evolution to Regulusmon.
  • Jossed. He does it by himself, and while Hiro does briefly sync up with Regulusmon, this is so that it can be expelled from Gammamon's body.

GulusGammamon will separate from Gammamon.
At some point in the story, GulusGammamon will sync up with Hiro to not only evolve into Regulusmon, but also separate himself from Gammamon. This act of separation will also weaken Gammamon and his evolutions' overall strength by half.
  • Confirmed on the two separating, though Hiro synced with Regulusmon specifically aiming to expel GulusGammamon from Gammamon's body. In fact, GulusGammamon was originally its own being before being sealed into Gammamon. The part about Gammamon being weakened is jossed, but Regulusmon is so unbelievably powerful that it practically outright one-shots Siriusmon. GulusGammamon also evolves before the split happens.
