Val is overworked and wants a break.
In Val's ending, the whole thing turned out to be a dream and she decides she's going to call in sick.Most people wouldn't call in sick to work just because they had some weird dream about it. Perhaps she's been overtaxed in her duties at Blue Revolver; the dream is a symptom of it and she just wants a day to take care of herself.
Double Action will change the entire Val story campaign.
It will no longer be a Bizzarre Dream Sequence and Val will get a proper plot of her own. The ending will also be extended to be much more than one picture and two lines long.
