Sisterly Bliss ~Don't Let Mom Find Out~ is an eroge visual novel released by eyephon in 2018.
The story follows Ichika and Futaba Sakura. Two sisters who are very close to the point that it suprises their friends and family. Both were always together during their childhood despite having distinct personality.
However, as it turn out, both sister are secretly in love with each other. Their mother, fearing that their relationship would go too far asks them to be more independant. Ichika thinking that her and Futaba would never be able to be together decides to go along with her mother's order and would try to distance herself from Futaba thinking it would be better for her. However, Futaba instead decides to listen to her heart and to try to be closer with Ichika.
Provides examples of:
- Arc Villain: The twins' mother is the Big Bad of the game due to trying to separate their daughters. However she is not actually a villain as she is still a good and caring mother. If a bad route is taken, either Ichika or Futaba becomes the Big Bad, as their obsession for the other grows very much which leads them to become evil and dangerous.
- Bittersweet Ending: While the good endings have the sisters in a happy relationship, the fact that they need to hide it from their mother and their friends doesn't make it a complete Happy Ending.
- Cool Big Sis: Ichika is always ready to answer Futaba's demands no matter how childish these demands can be. While she loses this aspect for a time because her mother asked her to, she recovers it when she realizes she really loves Futaba and wants her hapiness.
- Don't Tell Mama: Both sisters agree that their relationship must be kept secret from their mother and their friends.
- Downer Ending: Both bad routes have this. One has Futaba killing Ichika before possibly killing herself. The other has Ichika killing her parents, abusing Futaba and planning to kill her best friends.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: In both bad routes, no matter how horrible Ichika or Futaba became, they still love the other.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Both sisters are opposed in personality. Ichika serves as the mature and responsible one while Futaba is more immature and is too dependant of Ichika.
- Getting Sick Deliberately: Futaba tries to starve herself in hope to get sick so that Ichika would be worried about her and come back to her.
- Got Over Rape Instantly: Happens twice in Futaba's bad route. Despite having been raped by Futaba, Ichika simply tells her that it was wrong and to not do it again.
- Heel Realization: In the good routes, the mother realizes that it was a mistake to split both sisters, as they are better together. Though she is unaware that they are in a relationship.
- Hero Antagonist: The sisters' mother acts as this due to her trying to separate her daughters, though for good reasons.
- Multiple Endings: The game is composed of two good endings and two bad endings.
- Murder-Suicide: In her bad route, Futaba stabs Ichika with a knife and kills her. She then proclaims she will join her soon. Though we don't get to see her kill herself.
- Porn with Plot: While the game has some sex scenes, there is still a story on how the sisters have to deal with the feelings they have for each other.
- Psycho Lesbian: Both sisters become this in their respective bad route due to their obsession with the other.
- Futaba not accepting her sister's rejection tries many times to convince her to accept her love. Going as far as raping her, delusionally thinking that she will change her mind. All of Ichika's refusals will lead to Futaba killing her.
- Ichika not accepting the fact that Futaba is close to other people than her would abuse her sexually to make her understand that she is the only one Futaba needs. She also has no problem killing those who get in her way such as her parents or her best friends.
- Self-Made Orphan: In her bad route, Ichika pushes her parents from a cliff, ultimately killing them while making it look like an accident.
- The Bad Guy Wins: In her bad route, Ichika manages to succeed to have Futaba for herself after killing her parents and having the others believe they died in an accident.
- Twincest: Both sisters are in love with each other.
- Totally 18: The disclaimer at the beginning of the game tells clearly that all characters are 18 or over.
- Villain Protagonist: If the story leads to a bad route, the story will focus on either Futaba or Ichika who will becomes too obsessed with the other leading them to commit some heinous crimes to have her.
- Yuri Genre: The story is about the love between two sisters, Ichika and Futaba.
