Throughout the course of this series, the villains have it pretty easy until the bitter end. Then, things either get interesting or flat-out embarrassing. SPOILERS!!!
- Jerl Hienes. Upon seeing that Z-Squared is escaping, he suddenly has a psychotic break as he stands before him, ranting on and on about how his methods are in the right. He even has the audacity to claim that Z-Squared's insane because he acted in self-defense against Cesare. It doesn't go very far, as the good doctor is crushed to death accidentally by Sir.
- YOU DON'T BELONG OUT THERE! YOU ARE THE INSANE ONE WHO MUST BE KEPT ALONE FROM THE WORLD! YOU MURDERED CESARE, AFTER ALL!
- Necrosan. Oh, this guy will never catch a break.
- The first one just appears to be him warning his foes (Z-Squared, Megatron, Mr. Freeze, and Marceline) that he never loses. The battle begins and ends with him triumphant. However, Z-Squared manages to impale his heart with a shard of metal. The dragon is...less than pleased in the afterlife.(Moments after being stabbed) YOU INFERIOR MORTAL! I CAN NEVER BE BEATEN!
- Another one occurs during his return. He's got everyone on the ropes thanks to his trio of zombie dinosaurs), but Godzilla and Mothra combine their beam weapons to take him out. He panics, but gets caught in the blast, crashes into a building, is blown to nothing but a torso with a head, and stabbed in the heart by Z-Squared. No wonder he and Kumasogami went out for drinks after that.N-N-N-NO! THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY MOMENT! MY MOMENT OF TRIUMPH! NOW I'M LOSING TO TWO ANIMALS! ANIMALS, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I CAN'T LOSE! I WILL NEVER-You know, what?! Screw this! I'm outta here!(As he's being engulfed) GAH! NO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! I'M THE GREATEST FIGHTER THERE EVER WAS! NOTHING CAN BEAT ME! I'M TOO GOOD FOR THIAAAAAAUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!
- During his own arc, he showed signs of teetering on the edge when Faust failed due to his impatience, which he blamed on Titan alone. He even threatens to kill Rep-Stallion if Titan doesn't make the same mistake again. Then, Kumasogami fails him, leading him to get so desperate, that he has to call upon the power of Nyarlathotep.
- As Sin, he gets better. As in, kill-happy and power mad. He fakes one as he's seemingly beaten by the team, as he later kills them all sans Z-Squared and Sir. However, when Shadow Squared comes into the equation, he begins to lose all composure.Who...WHAT ARE YOU?! THIS ISN'T NORMAL! (During the battle) YOU INFERIOR PRIMATE!!! I'LL TEAR YOU APART! I AM LIKE MY HATRED! IT WILL NEVER DIE!
- Eventually, he survives the ensuing super attack and tries to kill Z-Squared in a fit of rage. Only to be killed...by Titan's pinkie. With one final fit, he's finally at rest.
- Except not. resurrected by the Hiver, he decides to wreck havoc in an alternate Los Angeles until Z-Squared and pals arrive. Already, his patience gets tested by the battle with Sans, but the turning point is, after being beaten by Papyrus of all people, when Sir decides to leave him there, depowered and denied revenge. He decides to reluctantly go along with it out of hopelessness.
- Yep. The only time this tradition has been broken was in only four episodes thus far. The second one is debatable, though.
- The first one just appears to be him warning his foes (Z-Squared, Megatron, Mr. Freeze, and Marceline) that he never loses. The battle begins and ends with him triumphant. However, Z-Squared manages to impale his heart with a shard of metal. The dragon is...less than pleased in the afterlife.
- Trixie Lulamoon had one in a retelling of her revenge episode. Once Basil and the others had her beaten at her own game, she responded quite violently. Thankfully, it was revealed to be only a Changeling in the reboot.
- Before Megatron became a team member, he had to deal with quite an indignity at Duck Dodger's hands. Reprogrammed into an utterly embarrassing Maintenance Droid, he's already a wreck. When the Martian papers call him a jellybean because of this, he has a few things to say to Tyr'Rha'Nee. It got better for both of them, though.
- YOU DID THIS! IT WAS BAD ENOUGH YOU PUT ME IN THIS PUNY BODY, BUT THEN YOU DECIDED TO PUBLICLY HUMILIATE ME IN THE PAPERS! I'M A DISGRACE BECAUSE OF IT!
- Sir has one when he goes to test his newly made Robo-Lincoln by battling King Azazel. As the monster continues to win, Sir gets desperate and possesses the machine, proceeding to electrocute Azazel. It was apparent he didn't know what he was doing. He's defeated by a beam of energy courtesy of the king.
- I'M NOT KILLING HIM! I'M JUST HURTING HIM! IT'S BASIC BATTLE ETIQUETTE!
- Kal-Rho. Once his staff is broken and Anubis comes for him, he's understandably terrified. Through the battle beforehand, he'd been very confident, so this change of pace qualified.
- Colonel Kernal finally got during the fourth and final part of his arc. After being defeated, he rises up and begins to torture and threaten his foes. Turns out, Metal Gear RAY is also quite alive and more than a bit angry. A battle is waged, which ends with the Colonel getting bisected.
- Beelzebub and Kumasogami had their own miniature breakdowns during the Necrosan Arc. Kumasogami, especially, upon Armor Mothra's arrival.
- During The Spark, Ethereal-Shock's rampage was something. The true earner of this trope is Mother Brain. After being denied her victory, as well as Meta-Ridley's love, she decides to wipe Elmore from the face of the planet. Things don't get better when Gumball arrives to defeat her, only to call her defective. Up to her defeat, she's hellbent on killing him after that remark....Defective. ME?! DEFECTIVE?! YOU, A MISERABLE SON OF A WHORE, ARE CALLING ME A DEFECTIVE LIFE-FORM?! We'll see who's 'defective' after I DESTROY AND EVERYONE LIKE YOU!
- Cesare returns in quite an odd twist of fate. Only, whether it be from Siek's experiments or something, he's lost it. While normally placid, Z-Squared's presence sends him into a blind and destructive rage not unlike Broly.
- Z-SQUAAAAAAARED!!!!
- It boils over later in that season. After transforming into A.P.E.X, he's far more flax and overconfident. However, in his battle with Shadow-Squared, he goes right back to being savage.
- Buzzsaw, the renegade Decepticon bird sadist has one when his art skills are mocked. It worked for a while, until he got smart.
- Every Decepticon has one here. Demolisher, upon discovering that he's been given mercy, panics and bolts off back into Equestria, alongside a sort of unwilling Psyconic. Barricade and Frenzy just have a Villainous BSoD until Meta-Ridley brings them out of their funk. Sky Byte has it far worse. He begins to sob uncontrollably as he realizes he can never go back home to his comrades and his blank. Nicole manages to calm him down into a state of determination.
- Speaking of Decepticons, Shockwave starts to utterly lose it at the prospect at the existence of magic. Though he keeps his cool through the story, he starts to lose his grip on everything during the battle between him and the team. Eventually, he's left repeating the question as to where logic is now. It's enough to make the others pity him.
- Unhand me! Logic must succeed! You cannot stop it! You CANNOT STOP IT!!!
- Big Brother from the same fanfic, suffers his own when he realizes he's truly in danger. Our heroes were less than sorry when he cracked after what he did, though.
- During Paka, Mishine, Na Sayansi, Micheal Stevens kills the Ice King in a fit of rage after he's been beaten by not just the Team leaders, but a freaking PIGEON.
- HAPPILY EVER AFTER DESERVES TO DIIIIIE!!!
