A new incident has occurred. Plants in Gensokyo are losing their energy and withering away. A young girl, Ha Seoi, is sent to the Hakurei Shrine to get assistance from the incident-resolving shrine maiden, Reimu Hakurei, and with magician Marisa Kirisame joining in, our heroes set off to investigate this incident.

Touhou Shizenyu ("Touhou Healing Nature") is a Touhou Project Role-Playing Game made by ASATO using RPG Maker. It takes inspiration from standard JRPG games and features its own unique mechanics.

This game contains examples of:

  • Book Ends: The first place Ha travels to is the Hakurei Shrine, greeted by Reimu and Marisa. If she chooses to travel to the Forest of Magic in Chapter 11, the last place she visits in the True Ending is the Hakurei Shrine, greeted by Reimu and Marisa.
  • Big Damn Heroes: At one point in the story, Ha defends a lost, helpless boy from a youkai trying to eat him. Later on, she shows up to assist the party against a seemingly endless army of monsters.

  • Disc-One Final Boss: Ayaka.
