Teen Titans 2 was the second and last Game Boy Advance video game tie-in for the Teen Titans (2003) cartoon, developed by Artificial Mind and Movement and distributed by Majesco Entertainment.

The game's plot is loosely based on the fifth season's arc of the Titans confronting the Brotherhood of Evil, with Robin having to rescue the rest of the team after the Brotherhood has captured them.

Tropes:

  • Adapted Out: Madame Rouge doesn't get a boss fight and isn't even mentioned in spite of her affiliation with the Brotherhood of Evil.
  • Advancing Boss of Doom: Cyborg's second fight with General Immortus is preceded by two stages where Cyborg has to reach the end of the level while outrunning Immortus.
  • Bag of Spilling: Beast Boy is no longer able to turn into a hawk to fly, instead having a monkey transformation used to climb.
  • Boss-Arena Idiocy: Beast Boy's battle with Monsieur Mallah is stacked against Mallah's favor because using Beast Boy's rhino charge ability when Mallah is open to attack causes Mallah to be knocked into an electrified wall that will cause considerable damage to Mallah's health bar.
  • Character Select Forcing: In contrast to the previous game enabling the player to cycle through all five Titans at any time, this game instead forces the player to play as one Titan per level (though it is possible to summon the other four to get past obstacles the selected Titan is unable to get through).
  • Expressive Health Bar: Much like in the previous game, the health bars for the Titans and two of the game's bosses (General Immortus and Monsieur Mallah, The Brain's boss fight doesn't have a health bar) are accompanied by an icon of the character's face that grins when at full health, but starts to frown and become more agitated as more damage is taken, to the extent that the face looks completely terrified when health is extremely low.
  • Final Boss: The Brain is the final opponent to face, who is beaten by using Beast Boy to scale the walls and press against green buttons while avoiding red buttons and jolts of electricity that periodically rain down.
  • Numbered Sequels: The second GBA game, with the title ending with "2" to signify that.
  • Pitiful Worms: The cutscene before Beast Boy's fight with Monsieur Mallah has Mallah call Beast Boy a green worm.
  • Recruitment by Rescue: The player starts the game only able to play as Robin, with the other Titans becoming playable after being rescued.
  • Recurring Boss: General Immortus and Monsieur Mallah both get multiple boss fights, to the extent that the final boss fight against The Brain is the only boss fight against anyone besides Immortus or Mallah.
  • Ring-Out Boss: The first General Immortus boss fight where Cyborg fights him has Immortus' defeat done by punching his cannon askew, using Cyborg's sonic cannon to blast away his vehicle's secondary turrets and pushing him towards a fragile platform until he plummets through it.
  • Stationary Boss: The Brain doesn't move at all during his boss fight, which makes sense considering he's just a disembodied brain contained in a tank.
  • Tactical Suicide Boss: Most of the boss fights against Immortus and Mallah have them repeat an action that serves no purpose other than to make it easy for the player to inflict tremendous damage to their health, such as Starfire's battle with General Immortus having him briefly deactivate his vehicle's force field and Raven's battle with Monsieur Mallah having Mallah sometimes drop oil drums that Raven can telekinetically throw at Mallah.
  • We Will Meet Again: General Immortus and Monsieur Mallah both swear to get even after every one of their boss fights, with The Brain vowing he'll be back to have his revenge against the Titans both after his boss fight is beaten and during the ending cutscene.
