STREEMERZ is a remake of a Action 52 game of the same name for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
The game is about Joe, a member of STREEMERZ, who had sabotaged the V6-15D and has to evacuate Master Y's headquarters.
It borrows heavily in design from both the original, and from Bionic Commando for the NES.
This game was made as part of the Action 52 Owns project. A flash version on Kongregate is available here

STREEMERZ includes examples of:
- A Father to His Men: The STREEMERZ Commander is implied to be this, with Joe being encouraged and assisted for his mission, and talking highly of him too. Then STREEMERZ Command gets destroyed, causing Joe to briefly lament.
- A God Am I: Master Y mode features this exchange:Sgt. Poison: I fell and now I meet my god.
Master Y: Actually: I'm your god.
Sgt. Poison: ... Hrk... Only one escape pod left... Godspeed... Master... Y...
Master Y: Actually: my normal pace is godspeed. - Another Side, Another Story: STREEEEEMERZ Mode allows you to play as Dr. Tary, Master Y's inventor of the V6-15D. Unfortunately for him, the device malfunctioned and he is left for dead, forcing him to escape. He plays differently too, allowing the player to control his gravitational pull towards the top and bottom.
- Arc Number: 15. It's how much VVVVVV cost back when it was released.
- Big Bad: Master Y.
- Bittersweet Ending: A very superb man named Joe did manage to destroy an enemy base, with his base having been destroyed as well. He then plans to form the FSA in memory of his superior officers.
- Bragging Rights Reward: The bags of cash is just there if you want the extra points, and for completion sake. In the later versions, it unlocks something.
- Superb Joe is basically this.
- Captain Ersatz:
- Catchphrase: "EUREKA TARY"
- Catch Phrase Interruptus: "EUREKA TAWAAAAAAANNGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
- Changing of the Guard: The ending has Joe wanting to start a new organization, in memory of STREEMERZ, called Former STREEMERZ Alliance, or F.S.A.
- Death Is a Slap on the Wrist: You have infinite lives and hardly any real consequence to dying, save having the amount of times you died recorded in the results screen, and forcing you to wait a few seconds before continuing.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Dr. Tary mentioned having a family
- Fan Remake: Of Streemerz for Action 52.
- Fan Sequel: STREEMERZ 2, which is to STREEMERZ what Bionic Commando Rearmed was to Bionic Commando, but with a lot of dick jokes for some reason.
- Foreshadowing: "Will I reach the stars? Only God knows" -Dr. Tary
- In his playable appearance, Master Y unintentionally keeps talking about his future explosive demise.
- Fun with Acronyms: Super STREngth EMERgency Squad-Zeta
- The Guards Must Be Crazy: In Master Y mode.Clown: Master Y gave the directive "Eliminate on sight"
Master Y: Yes, but it was assumed that I was an exception.
Clown: Master Y didn't say!
Master Y: You numbskulls!! - Gravity Screw: Present in STREEMERZ 2.Joe: Somehow I freaking broke gravity.
- Homage: The game looks very similar to Bionic Commando. Even plays somewhat similar too right down to the iconic head explosion scene.
- Intentional Engrish for Funny: Makes fun of the poor English in both Action 52 and Bionic Commando.
- It's Personal: After STREEMERZ Command got destroyed, Joe vows to avenge them.
- Lethal Joke Character: Clowns. Touching them, or their pies, will immediately kill the player.
- Medium Awareness: Joe from STREEMERZ 2.
- Mission Control: The STREEMERZ Commander.
- Nebulous Evil Organisation: Implied. Dr. Tary deduced that the shadow organization must be STREEMERZ Command, and plans to sell his V6-15D blue prints to them. He doesn't survive (on his own accord) to confirm this though.
- Master Y mode reveals that the shadow organization is actually Supper Meat Products.
- One-Hit-Point Wonder: The player character was changed into one of these. The original player in Action 52 could take four hits.
- Perspective Flip: The secret Master Y Mode.
- Poison Mushroom: Averted; the bags of money are used to unlock a hidden mode.
- Pre-Asskicking One-Liner: Joe delivers one to Master Y.Master Y: I was formerly STREEMERZ
Joe: And soon, formerly alive! - Precision F-Strike: Subverted on Dr. Tary's ending.Dr. Tary: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
- Retraux: Was even ported back to the NES.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: Dr. Tary escapes and plans his compensation to his failure, only to end up flying into space to his death.
- Shout-Out: The head explosion scene from Bionic Commando.
- Former STREEMERZ Alliance... F.S.A.... I like it.
- Dr. Tary's corpse ends up becoming the foundation of the V universe.
- The shadow organization funding Master Y is Supper Meat Products, whose presidents are Edward MacVillain and Tammie Reviless.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Master Y delivers one to Joe, only to get turned around as Joe brags about his superior health.
- Take That!: Most obviously, caricatures of Derek Yu and Terry Cavanagh are the game's villains.
- Updated Re-release: The updated versions removed the original Streemerz and Cheetahmen tracks with three original music pieces that sound similar. An easier difficulty, time attack, and Superb Joe modes were made available, along with the STREEEEEMERZ and Master Y modes that allow you to play as Dr. Tary and Master Y respectively. The flash version featured online leader boards too.
- Villain Protagonist: Dr. Tary worked for Master Y, and intends to cowardly run away from his failure.
- Villainous Harlequin: Takes the harmful clowns in the original and runs with it, making them a very potent threat by way of Collision Damage and Pie in the Face.
- Worth It: Is Doing Things The Hard Way worth 15 monies? The villains seem to think so, while Joe regrets it when he clears the challenge.
