SpyHunter: Nowhere to Run is a 2006 video game sequel to SpyHunter 2, developed and created by Midway Games. This time, they casted Dwayne Johnson as International Espionage Services (IES) agent Alex Decker, who takes over from Alex Sects as the main protagonist. It was made available via the Playstation 2, Xbox and Microsoft Windows.

While the game is still a driving game, there are segments that Alex operates on foot with small arms.

Alex was sent on an anti-NOSTRA operation when it failed due to NOSTRA forces capture a briefcase he secured with it being recaptured and his Interceptor seized. Karin was reported to be missing in action.

A year later, Alex was sent undercover to infiltrate a NOSTRA operation on orders from his IES superiors.

SpyHunter: Nowhere to Run provides examples of:

  • And the Adventure Continues: The IES continues to hunt down Gomez after his plots are foiled.
  • Disposable Vehicle Section: The Interceptor from Nowhere to Run also has a Secondary Escape Vehicle mode. The game info at the back of the box says that Alex can change it from sedan to boat and motorbike.
  • Downer Beginning: An IES operation to steal a [[Macguffin a briefcase]] failed when Karin engaged NOSTRA operatives and was knocked out after she shot explosive barrels.
  • Hostage Situation: The IES Director gets kidnapped as a hostage by NOSTRA.
  • Ink-Suit Actor: Dwayne Johnson did mocap work for Alex Decker.
  • Super Drowning Skills: In one section, it is possible to end up racing against the clock due to a careless grenade explosion or someone shooting wildly, causing a dam you must cross on foot (Due to the bridge it's under being raised and preventing the Interceptor from passing) to start filling with water should it be damaged. Crossing it while it is still filling is safe, but allowing it to fully fill up will cause it to, for seemingly no reason, kill Alex on contact. This can also make the mission unwinnable and force you to reload to a checkpoint, should it fill up completely while Alex is still on the other side, separating him from the Interceptor.
  • A Taste of Their Own Medicine: The Interceptor in Nowhere to Run now comes armed with its own set of Switch Blade spikes, letting you shred the tires of enemy vehicles.
  • SWAT Team: Some levels have various police tactical units assisting Alex fighting NOSTRA agents.
  • Wrestler in All of Us: Since Alex is mocapped by Dwaye Johnson, he can fight NOSTRA agents with wrestling moves.
