Sheepy: A Short Adventure is a short, Freeware Platform Game by Mrsuicidesheep. In it, you play as Sheepy, a sheep plush given life by a mysterious spirit. Sheepy traverses a seemingly post-apocalyptic, yet beautiful wasteland filled with broken down buildings and corpses. But during all this, Sheepy is opposed by a living teddy bear named Patches, who dual-wields two knives and possesses supernatural abilities. The further into the game you get, the more powers you earn, making platforming more complicated.

Sheepy contains the following tropes:

  • Bears Are Bad News: Patches is a bear, and the game's main enemy. Subverted, as he's not evil at all.
  • Book Ends: The first ability you unlock is the Double Jump. And it's also the last one you give up.
  • Double Jump: The first ability you unlock, by defeating Patches for the first time, is being able to jump in midair.
  • The End... Or Is It?: The game ends with Sheepy giving up all his abilities in order to activate a portal. Sheepy then drags an unconscious Patches into the portal to somewhere unknown. This is followed by a "The end?" screen.
  • Good All Along: The final chapter of the game reveals that Patches acts like he does because he's possessed by an evil spirit. You then proceed to activate the portal at the end while Patches blocks the spirit's attacks.
  • Good Colors, Evil Colors: Sheepy is associated with uplifting light blue, and most of his powers have that color scheme, while Patches is associated with a sinister dark purple and has abilities that make him glow that color. This is because the evil spirit possessing him is that color.
  • Good Scars, Evil Scars: Patches has a scar to signify that he's not your ally. Though, ultimately, it fals under the Good Scars category.
  • Killer Teddy Bear: Patches is a teddy bear, and he's constantly out to kill you. This is because he's possessed by a dark spirit.
  • A Lizard Named "Liz": You play as a sheep named Sheepy.
  • Precision F-Strike: The game is mostly lacking in profanity, or dialogue for that matter, but one of the many notes you encounter, which is fittingly located in a corpse-filled hole, contains only one word, which is "Fuck".
  • Puzzle Boss: The boss fights with Patches are this due to Sheepy having no means of attack. The first fight has you lure him into spikes while avoiding his dash attack, and the second has you tricking him into immobilizing himself with crystals and then dashing into him.
  • Retraux: The game uses a pixel artstyle, but released in 2024.
  • Spoiled by the Format: The description for the achievement for beating Patches for the first time is "You made a new friend", foreshadowing that he's actually on your side.
