Pizza Exodus RPG is an indie Role-Playing Game created by Tixerp. Taking inspiration from games such as Mother and LISA, this game shares much of its gameplay style, aesthetic, and humor. It's still in development, but it has a fairly-expansive playable demo. More information and updates can be found here and here.

This video game provides examples of:

  • Crapsack World: The town home to Papa's Pizza is a Stepford Suburbia also home to the cult and its neighboring city is a Wretched Hive. The world in general just seems to be plagued by violent gangs fighting over "the dough".
  • Cult: An anti-pizza one, specifically, serving as the Big Bad.
  • G-Rated Drug: The way people, mostly gangs and the homeless, fight over "The Dough" makes it sound like some sort of addictive substance.
  • Jumped at the Call: Wendy wastes no time aiding her boss Jared once the cult destroys the pizzeria. Dwight also tags along, but mostly because he has nothing better to do.
  • MacGuffin: "The Dough", of which many ruthless gangs fight each other over. It's unclear if this is some sort of drug or, as it's commonly referred to in real life, a large sum of money.
  • Married to the Job: Jared is so devoted to being a pizzaiolo he might as well be asexual.
  • Multiple Endings: Endings vary heavily, depending on player choice and party members.
  • Shout-Out: Many, mostly to its inspirations.
