"Palais de Reine" is an otome game by Kogado Studio originally released in 2006 on PC and later the Playstation 2. In 2020 it was released on Steam in English and Chinese.You play as a princess who must suddenly ascend the throne after her father's untimely death and her brother's mysterious disappearance. In the middle of her coronation a number of the country's leaders object, she must prove herself to the majority if she wants to become queen.
You can win the game through a variety of ways such as networking, physical challenges, and assassinations. Perhaps you'll also find love while you attempt to keep your country afloat?
Gameplay combines both visual novel and simulation elements.
