Greg's Deadly Draft is an indie sports Mascot Horror game developed by Silvercity Sharks.

You are a football player that has been drafted to join the Sharks. However, you quickly find out that something is completely out of place in the facility. Not only is the mascot real, but there is shady science involved in all of this.

You'll have to survive the draft if you want to make it to the exit.

Available on Steam.

The game received an update in graphics in the version 2 release in 2024.

Greg's Deadly Draft wants these tropes to join the Sharks:

  • Achilles' Heel: Greg and his minions are easily stunned and/or destroyed by the anchor.
  • Animal Mecha: Greg confronts you one last time, piloting a robotic shark that can shoot lasers at you.
  • Big Bad: Greg White Shark. He is also the last obstacle to take down in order to escape the stadium with your life.
  • Big "NO!": The Mighty Cone cries this out after being defeated, before exploding and leaving a heart behind.
  • Body Horror: The football players that stand in your way, on closer inspection, have patches of grey skin and sharp teeth forming. Others, however, exhibit a much more shark-like appearance having undergone further transformation.
  • Easter Egg: Players who want to explore a bit in the game can find Stinger Flynn from Garten of Banban chilling in a kiddie pool, along with a note in which the writer expresses no clue how on earth he got there or who Banban is.
  • Featureless Protagonist: The only thing you can see of the protagonist is either the football or the anchor in their possession.
  • Horror Comedy: Although it is a horror game involving a sentient mascot (in this case, football) and there is mad science snuck inside, the entire game is comical because of Greg's over-the-top personality and the silliness of the shark mutants and robots being easy to stun/destroy.
  • Just Think of the Potential!: Behind the scenes, a secret laboratory was established within the stadium that created a performance serum called P.E.S., which was used to provides boosts for football player candidates. However, it also has the not-so-pleasant effect of causing the consumer to become a shark over a period of time.
  • Mechanical Animals: Among Greg's minions you have to contend with are robot sharks, which can be destroyed by the anchor.
  • Punny Name: Greg White Shark
  • Shark Man: Greg's appearance as a mascot presents him as a shark with human hands and feet.
  • Super Serum: The P.E.S., a performance serum created by scientists for the football team.
