Grand Theft Pizza Delivery is a 2D Wide-Open Sandbox Video Game by Shandy Pants Studios, developed by two thirteen-year-old video game design students.

The game casts you as Bob, a delivery boy working for Speedy Joe's Pizza. Your job is to take the pizzas and drive around town delivering them to their customers.

Of course, there is more to the game than that.

There's a wide variety of minigames to take part in, and numerous missions to go on that will lead Bob to uncover the mystery of Pizza City.

The game was funded on Kickstarter on June 19th, 2014. It was ultimately released on March 24th, 2015. The game can be purchased on itch.io here.

Grand Theft Pizza Delivery contains examples of:

  • Brown Bag Mask: Mr. Fleetwodd wears one. The reason? Not known.
  • Fade to Black: Happens if you fail a mission, followed by a Game Over screen.
  • The Mistress: Bob discovers that his boss is cheating on his wife with a girl from the Trip Pub. He decides to go tell his wife.
  • No Peripheral Vision: In the first stealth mission of the game, the best way to stay out of sight of Speedy Joe and his mistress is to stay out of their cone of vision. And don't be in front of it either, as they can still see forward beyond that.
  • Serial Spouse: Apparently, Speedy Joe has been married and divorced into the double digits in terms of counting. His current wife is his 47th, and his 33rd is locked up in prison for a crime Speedy Joe committed and pinned on her.
  • Side View: Some of the missions/minigames will adopt this view.
  • Stealth-Based Mission: The game has one that involves avoiding the gazes of Speedy Joe and the mystery girl he's seeing behind his wife's back to get the girl's I.D. from Joe's car.
  • Suspiciously Cracked Wall: In the prison mission, you'll run into cracked sections of wall that you can break through with the application of enough bullets.
  • Timed Mission: The pizza delivery missions have a time limit that they must be completed in. Failing to do so will result in a Game Over.
  • Top-Down View: Zigzagged. The cars and characters are shown as this, but in the over-world, the building are shown from a Three-Quarters View perspective, possibly to make navigating the over-world easier.
