Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy is a Licensed Game based on the Danny Phantom series developed for the Game Boy Advance by Altron and published by THQ in 2005. It follows the plot of the TV movie it's based on. At first you play as Dan Phantom as he tears through Amity Park, then the control goes to Danny Phantom who has to stop him. During the Beat 'em Up gameplay, he has to fight ghosts and use special abilities that cost Ghost Power. If he runs out of it, he can turn back to Danny Fenton and recover it, though he's practically defenseless in that state.

This game provides examples of:

  • A Taste of Power: At the start of the game, you play as Dan Phantom, who is very powerful and has a long health bar. For the rest of the game, you play as Danny, who is noticeably weaker, though he can level up.
  • Character Level: At the end of each level, Danny accumulates experience from defeated enemies. Once he gets enough of it, he unlocks an ability.
  • Happy Ending Override: Once you try mission mode, it turns out Danny failed to change the future after all and he'll have to go back to the beginning and go through the whole game again, trying to pinpoint the new trigger.
  • Mini-Game: There are four minigames in the BK promotions menu that are unlocked by inputting specific codes.
  • Purposely Overpowered: Danny's Ghostly Wail deals ridiculous amounts of damage within range. Fittingly, Danny unlocks it either at max level or at the point in the story where he'd normally get it, as it was vital in the movie.
  • Unexpected Shmup Level: World 2 and 6 have levels where Danny Phantom flies for their entire duration and has to shoot at ghosts which are coming at him.
  • Unlockable Difficulty Levels: By default, the only available difficulty is normal mode. By inputting VLAD as a password, you can unlock easy and hard difficulty options.
