Batman Returns is a Beat 'em Up game released on the Amiga computer in 1993 by Gametek, licensed from Konami.
Like Batman Returns (Genesis), the game also emphasizes more on the Platform Game aspects.
The Amiga version of Batman Returns contains examples of:
- An Asskicking Christmas: More pronunced than the other versions of the BR games, where Batman fights the Red Triangle Circus Gang where Gotham Square has the large Christmas tree.
- Spared by the Adaptation: After Batman defeats Catwoman, there's a short credits sequence where it's mentioned that Batman defeated Penguin to save the day. It's not mentioned that Catwoman dies.
- Traintop Battle: Batman fights on the train to rescue the kids abducted by Penguin's clowns.What makes this interesting is that Batman and the clowns, (if kicked off the roof), can still give chase to the train on foot without getting tired.
- Wretched Hive: The game isn't shy to depict parts of Gotham City that are damaged by the gang activities.
