Adopt Me! is a 'Roblox'' game developed by Uplift Games. It focuses on adopting and caring for a variety of ‘Virtual Pets” through hatching eggs. The virtual pets are classified in five different groups: common, uncommon, rare, ultra-rare, and legendary.
Players can level up pets through extensive care, where pets can be grown from a newborn status to a junior, pre-teen, teen, post-teen, and full-grown status, in the respective order. Players can combine four full-grown pets to create a neon pet or four full-grown neon pets to create a mega neon pet.
Adopt Me! tropes:
- Bioluminescence Is Cool: Neon Pets are pets in Adopt Me! that have a unique glow on certain parts of their body, Neon pets can be made in the Neon Cave. Inside the Neon Cave, players can fuse the spirits of their pets by placing four Full Grown pets of the same species onto the four glowing circles around the edge of the platform. This will cause them to coalesce and become one pet. The new pet will glow in certain spots of its body. The color of the Neon spots is unique to that species of pet, Mega neon pets can be made in the same way but with four of the same neon pet that are in the luminescence stage
- Floating Continent: The Sky Castle is a building and a shop in Adopt Me!. It is located floating in the sky above the middle of the Adoption Island. The Sky Castle is supported by a lump of large clouds. The Sky Castle's interior features a long rectangular shop which lets players purchase the Cuddly Candle, Grinmoire and other potions with different effects. On the walls of the shop
- Horse of a Different Color: Players can Ride Pets Using A Ride-A-Pet Potion When fed to a pet, it makes them rideable forever.
- Job System: Jobs are a way of earning Bucks in Adopt Me. All jobs currently pay 15 Bucks an hour with a cap of 50 Bucks per Day, There are currently 9 jobs in total.
- Mini-Game: During Adopt Me Events, there would usually be ways for a player to earn the currency for a certain event, either through participating in the event mini-game or buying the currency with robux
- Pet Dress-Up: Players can customize their pets With accessories Players may obtain them through purchasing with Bucks in the Accessory Shop or by trading with other players. Some pet accessories are a part of pet accessory packs that cost Robux.
- Play Every Day: The game has a daily reward system called “Star Rewards” Star Rewards come from earning stars in the Daily Reward. The stars can be used to gain certain items, depending on how many stars a player has. It encourages users to keep a streak to play the game more.
- Starter Equipment: First time adopt me Players are given a starter egg for free, it is granted when a player joins the game for the first time; it is not tradable.
- Virtual Pet: The game's primary focus involves taking care of virtual pets.
