Pinkie Le Pew

Pinkie Pie's tradition of moving from place to place by hopping is based off of a recurring gag with Looney Tunes star Pepe Le Pew, wherein he chases Penelope Pussycat around by hopping. This is especially made noticeable in "Griffon the Brush Off", where Pinkie chases Rainbow Dash around Ponyville with her bounces set to a waltz, as Pepe's cartoons had him do.
