Fridge Brilliance
- Pepe only made few cameos in Tiny Toon Adventures and while Fifi clearly had a big crush on him, Pepe never really chased her out despite it being in nature with his personality to chase after anything that looks like a skunk and especially a literal skunk. When you look at how the Tiny Toons were basically the early teenage versions of the Looney Tunes, it also inferred one of Pepe's actually positive traits that wasn't mostly shown: He'd chase anything that looks like a skunk, but first and foremost, it's got to be an adult or looking like it, at least Penelope or any of his chasing targets in his shorts could pass as adult skunks. Fifi, on the other hand, would be considered as 'underage' and Pepe may be an amorous skunk, but he probably doesn't want to get labeled as a pedophile.
- Why is Pepe so, so, so desperate for romance? Skunks are not native to France. Penelope is probably the closest he's come to seeing a feminine skunk in a long time.
Fridge Horror
- An in-universe example of this happens during the Fabrette short, wherein Pepe is confused that as everyone runs away from him, they yell "Pew!" because his name is Pepe Le Pew. So he goes and looks it up in a dictionary:Pepe: Okay, it means... [silent moment of horrified realization that it means he smells bad]
