His ideal look in Gundam.

"All hail Britannia, and long live Gjallarhorn."
G2BattleConvoy, his Forum Signature.

G2BattleConvoy is a self-proclaimed Ginger British Mecha Geek, and is proud of that fact. A somewhat devoted Transformers fan since childhood who is willing to forgive the Bayformers films, or at least the first three, he has been enamoured with any kind of robotic superweapon. He has recently become a fan of Gundam as well, fully embracing the surprisingly similar premise that both of those franchises share.

He's also a fan of Star Wars, Code Geass, Doctor Who, Halo, and pretty much any other franchise with Sci-Fi elements in them. Lately, he has started to identify himself with the phrase 'Gundam Knight,' which is no doubt related to a certain military organisation that is in control of Mars.

Roleplay Characters (FG Thread)

    Gjallarhorn
An aristocratic military police force patrolling the Solar System to prevent a second Calamity War, Gjallarhorn has been founded since the end days of the Calamity War, their military achievements winning them enough political power to essentially enforce the law and maintain the peace for over 300 years. In the present however, their objective authority has been called into question...

Common tropes between the Gjallarhorn members include:
  • Ace Custom: A good deal of the Gjallarhorn characters have started out with their variations of a typical Gjallarhorn Mobile Suit; Michael's Graze Ritter Arsenal is a modified Graze Ritter outfitted with shoulder-mounted weaponry to compliment his standard-issue rifle and sword, Julieta's Reginlaze is a tweaked prototype next-generation Mobile Suit intended for close-quarters combat and Iok's Reginlaze is a commander-use variant with a large prototype railgun cannon intended for long-range sniping.
  • Bad Future: All of the Gjallarhorn characters originate from a timeline where humanity had conquered the Solar System, an Apocalyptic Robot War had already occurred over 300 years before any of them are born, and Humongous Mecha in the form of Mobile Suits exist.
  • Boring Yet Practical: Not many of them may have superpowers, but their use of Real Robot Humongous Mecha and kinetic weapons reeks of this.
  • Colour-Coded for Your Convenience: Gjallarhorn uniforms are usually coloured specifically to indicate which division the wearer works for. A primarily white and blue uniform would indicate members of the Inspection Bureau, while green and white uniforms denote members of Arianrhod.
  • Kinetic Weapons Are Just Better: Surprisingly enough, despite how far in the future they originate from, all of the Mobile Suits that the members of Gjallarhorn use are equipped with projectile weaponry and supersized medieval weapons.

Michael Tapferin

Main mecha: EB-06ra Graze Ritter Arsenal
Personal Power Armour: EB-06ra/MoSt-PAr "Ritter Armour", FA-78-TB/MoSt-PAr "Thunderbolt Armour."

An Original Character and the Anti-Villain Protagonist of the (currently ongoing) fic 'Knights of Gjallarhorn,' he originates from a timeline where one of the Seven Star families of Gjallarhorn has been replaced with another, the Tapferins, and is thus their current heir. His rank is Specialist-Captain in the Inspection Bureau, and he serves under McGillis Fareed and Gaelio Bauduin, the heirs to their respective families.

  • Achievements in Ignorance: He made a succubus fall in love with him, and unwittingly at that.
  • Almighty Janitor: While Iok outranks him as an officer of the Arianrhod Fleet, Michael is shown to be far more capable than Iok, despite being a mere Specialist-Captain of Gjallarhorn's Inspection Bureau.
  • Anti-Villain: Ultimately, Michael plays around with this trope. In his home dimension, he is an aristocratic officer of a military police force that is well-known for using its industrial might to stamp out any notions of resistance or attempts to kick off a second apocalyptic war like the one that happened 300 years ago. However, his time in the Room reveals him to be somewhat sympathetic to the commoners' plights on Mars and makes a personal vow to try and fix things once he reaches a high enough position in Gjallarhorn's command structure. The fact that he would attempt to negotiate with people first before resorting to violence shows that he is fairly reasonable and very self-aware of his current predicament. However, his attempts to kill Kora before she could eat the Room's planet put him on a few people's bad sides, to the point of getting shot. If anything, he's much closer to a Pragmatic Hero.
  • Badass Normal: Just because he's lost his Mobile Suit doesn't mean he can't put up a fight on foot. Bonus points for his lack of physical superpowers himself. And Oriana does or, at least, used to consider him her best friend. Especially after he basically helped save her from being killed by Moya.
    • He manages to blow off Perfect Cell's arm with nothing but a makeshift railgun. Badass Normal, indeed.
  • Bash Siblings: He and Julieta enter combat together frequently.
  • Blue Blood: He is the son of Lord Raynar Tapferin of the Seven Stars, a member of the ruling council of Gjallarhorn, which was founded by seven families and a war hero.
  • Crowning Moment of Awesome: He somehow convinced Jennifer, who had accidentally gained godlike powers through an actual cosmic entity's jewellery, to summon the original owner, Oriana, to the Room in question. He's even praised by said cosmic entity for willing to stand up to her.
    • His attempt to kill Kora with Dáinsleifs deployed from Iok's ship positively tops this. While she may not be dead due to the aforementioned Dáinsleifs, the fact of the matter is he was the last thing to make her go through a Heel–Face Turn.
  • Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: Downplayed example. He manages to shoot Majora in the chest with a Helghan sniper rifle at one point. She was not pleased. He plays the trope straight when he successfully pulls off an Indy Ploy in an attempt to kill Kora, Oriana's sister.
  • Good Is Not Soft: He's willing to go to rather... brutal methods to dispatch evil. Which is notable, given he's a member of Gjallarhorn. This works against him when he commands Iok to fire a salvo of Dáinsleifs at his friend's older sister.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Aside from being planned to be the pilot of a demonically named Gundam, quite a few things have happened to Michael that are actually pretty funny:
    • He had a lengthy feud against a chaos demoness.
    • He once tried to kill someone who had taken the name of an alien culture's death-god.
    • He unwittingly nearly got his soul stolen from him by a succubus.
    • The aforementioned succubus is now in a relationship with him (for realises, this time.)
    • What makes this even more hilarious is that the Ars Goetia demon Zepar, the namesake of the Gundam that he would pilot eventually, is known for making women fall in love with certain men.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: Inverted with Oriana, because she's a massive cloud of energy that identifies as female.
  • Knight Templar: Believes himself to be in the right to attempt to kill Kora. While one could argue that it's justified in that she destroyed countless worlds as 'Kora the All-Consuming,' he still got shot by Eires twice for attempting the act.
  • Irony: He made friends with Oriana by stopping an event which would have ended all of reality, only to completely shatter it when he attempts to destroy a percieved threat to the Room, which is all but lampshaded by Michael himself.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Subverted. He attempted to have Saitama pick a fight with Moya in an attempt to stop her from killing Oriana. He didn't account for Saitama actually becoming a temporary ally for her to kill 'the Destroyer.' Maria believes that he played the trope straight when he was planning to counter Kora.
  • Powered Armour: Lune makes an Instant Armour version for him based off his personal Graze Ritter Arsenal, which is summoned through a watch he is currently wearing. In preparation for fighting Saiyan opponents, he has Lune construct a new armour based off the FA-78 Full Armour Gundam.
  • Royal Rapier: Receives one courtesy of Marcia.
  • Sword and Gun: They're the weapons he has strapped to his belt. His Ritter Armour allows him to switch these out for a broadsword and an automatic rifle, with a couple other shoulder-mounted additions.
  • Secret-Keeper: He is one for Oriana, to a certain extent.
  • Token Human: Among a shapeshifter, an elf, a Hylian and... Oriana.
  • Walking Arsenal: His Thunderbolt Armour is positively armed to the teeth.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Franklin Richards and H.E.R.B.I.E. actually note that while Michael's actions may seem... controversial at times, they more or less were made with some form of noble intent.

Julieta Juris

Main mecha: EB-08 Reginlaze (green/white)
Personal Power Armour: EB-08/MoSt-PAr "Reginlaze Armour", RX-80PR/MoSt-PAr "Reiter Armour."

A talented yet young Ace Pilot from the Arianrhod Fleet of Gjallarhorn, she was personally recruited by Rustal Elion to serve under him. She appears around the time when Michael sends out a distress signal from the Roof of the Room, bringing her Reginlaze with her, and has more or less become Michael's bodyguard to a certain extent.

  • Ace Pilot: She states that she was given her Reginlaze because of her skills in piloting a Mobile Suit. And while she hasn't found much use for it around the room, Michael explains that this is because Arianrhod is essentially the Special Forces division of Gjallarhorn.
  • The Big Gal: Played with. Her Reginlaze is one of the biggest things that have appeared near the room, topping at a whopping 18 meters at full height. Which means, that if anyone should face her in the Reginlaze directly, they might get some nasty injuries. Otherwise, she's significantly shorter than Michael.
  • Child Soldier: Implied to be one formerly.
  • Close-Range Combatant: She can be rather deadly in a close-quarters brawl, complimenting Michael's preference for ranged weaponry.
  • Deadpan Snarker: She fits this trope to a T. Her remarks are usually made at the expense of her superior officers... and Majora.
  • Dynamic Entry: She engages Moya by landing in front of her with her Reginlaze.
  • Elites Are More Glamorous: As Julieta is part of the Arianrhod Fleet of Gjallarhorn, which is considered the top dogs of the organisation, her combat skill is almost second to none.
  • Hidden Depths: She can't help but fiddle around with an action figure based on Lune because of her lack of what's considered an actual childhood.
  • Odd Friendship: She seems to get along with Homura rather well.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: While Michael has more or less adjusted to the Room fairly well, Julieta's behaviour has started to crack. There was one instance where she threatened Orbital Bombardment in order to get Kora to back off (she was talked out of it pretty quickly).
  • Parental Abandonment: It's eventually revealed that Julieta has no idea what her real parents are like, and has only been raised by a mercenary soldier to eventually be taken under Rustal Elion's wing.
  • Powered Armour: Like Michael, she gains an Instant Armour variant that's based on her Ace Custom Reginlaze. Michael commissions Franklin and Lune to put together a new armour based on the RX-80PR Pale Rider.
  • Pile Bunker: Her Reginlaze is equipped with two pile-bunker equipped staffs that are designed to literally smash through armour. Her "Reiter" Armour swaps these out for a pair of beam sabres while adding in a few ranged weapons.
  • Straight Man and Wise Guy: The Wise Gal to Michael's Straight Man.
  • Undying Loyalty: To her commanding officer, Rustal Elion.

Iok Kujan

Main mecha: EB-08s Reginlaze Commander Type (black/gold)

Commander of Arianrhod's Second Fleet, Iok is the current Lord of the Kujan family and is thus one of the Seven Stars. His ship is the one that allows Julieta to arrive at the Room as it's revealed that the distress signal that Michael sent went through a space/time anomaly, and thus was recognised by the ships that were patrolling there. According to Michael and Julieta, he's not exactly the most competent at his job. Currently, he spends most of his time in orbit, and Michael and Julieta would prefer it that way.

  • BFG: His Reginlaze is equipped with a massive railgun cannon intended for long-range sniping.
  • Big Damn Heroes/The Cavalry: During the first Boss Fight against Cell and Buu, he personally leads a squadron of Arianrhod Fleet Mobile Suits in an attempt to suppress Cell.
  • Butt-Monkey: He's the butt of many jokes related to Gjallarhorn.
  • Blue Blood: Like Michael, he is a descendant of the people who founded Gjallarhorn on the eve of the Calamity War, and has recently taken his father's place as Lord of the Kujan family.
  • The Captain: Of the ship he currently has in orbit.
  • The Faceless: So far, he hasn't made a formal appearance in the Room itself, as most of his interactions with the other characters are either through a phone, or from a Mobile Suit.
  • Friendly Sniper: He's an excitable person and is supposed to hang back and snipe targets from afar while his subordinates keep other enemies at bay. In theory.
  • Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy: His sharpshooting with his giant railgun cannon can be described as mediocre at best, and most of the time, he doesn't realise that snipers are not supposed to fire continuously because of the potential amount of wasted shots.
  • Informed Attribute: Iok seems to be under the impression that as the Lord of the Kujan family, he is one of Gjallarhorn's most effective commanders and a competent pilot. The reality is that he doesn't really possess those qualities.
  • Long-Range Fighter: His Ace Custom Reginlaze was designed from the ground up to be this, the idea being that his bodyguards take the brunt of any assault that they encounter.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: At least in regards to Julieta and Michael, anyway.
  • Voice with an Internet Connection: He's mostly seen speaking from a phone to Michael, as he's more or less confined on his personal ship.

    Cosmic Compiler
Common tropes regarding these characters include:
  • Canon Welding: They're revealed to be the organisation behind the creation of GBN, and are using the VRMMO as a part of a Crazy-Prepared Benevolent Conspiracy to prepare for the possibility of humanity getting into a massively destructive war amongst itself or an Alien Invasion.
  • Crapsaccharine World: Revealed to be where the Cosmic Compiler characters originate from, according to -EX-. He describes it as a situation that is somewhat similar to God Eater: Humanity is close to wiping itself out due to fighting over scarce resources left over from the dozen or so conflicts fought by Mobile Suits over the centuries. Cosmic Compiler is just one group in control of off-world facilities, and city strongholds on Earth, and their main modus operandi is to figure out how to evolve humanity in order to stop humanity from destroying itself. Except things are not as bad as -EX- implied.
  • Five-Man Band: The Cosmic Compiler group pretty much fits into this archetype.
  • N.G.O. Superpower: In a sense, Cosmic Compiler is this. They're a technically-independent paramilitary organisation operating in the old colonial areas and have support from Europe and are implied to have influence in Japan, but they have some of the most advanced technology in the Solar System that no-one else has access to. On their own, they're capable of fighting most countries' armies to a standstill. They're also powerful enough to have operational ships with FTL capabilities.

Leos Alloy

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/leos_alloy_9.jpg
Cosmic Knight
Main mecha: JPX-G5367 Extreme Gundam Type-Leos, JPX-G5367/Ef Extreme Gundam Eclipse Face, JPX-G5367/Xf Extreme Gundam Xenon Face, JPX-G5367/Af Extreme Gundam Agios Face, JPX-G5367/EXA Extreme Gundam EXA Face.

A member of the organisation Cosmic Compiler, Leos was assigned to the Jupiter X station to help collect data from various virtual recreations of the wars that Mobile Suits fought in, in order to figure out the secret of human evolution. His personal Gundam, the Extreme Gundam Type-Leos, is designed to take on new forms based on previous Gundams, and it's this very Mobile Suit that gives him the ability to fight against a mysterious entity known as "-EX-". He is assisted by the Holoactor, Sthesia Awar.

  • Ace Custom: The Extreme Gundam that he pilots was tweaked especially for him, and it's coloured red, too.
  • Ace Pilot: He was chosen to pilot his Extreme Gundam because of his raw talent when it came to piloting Mobile Suits. Keith actually envies him because of this.
  • All Your Powers Combined: The EXA Face is the combined form of all three Faces that his Extreme Gundam can access, although it's treated as a last resort.
  • Beam Spam/More Dakka: Leos gets an automatic beam rifle for infantry use and his own set of Powered Armour, courtesy of BLADE.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: Leos suggested that Aichi could be taught how to pilot a Mobile Suit if he wanted to. In a case of Dramatic Irony, -EX- and his Dark Sthesia clones turn him into such a pilot, as part of their Evil Plan.
  • Berserk Button: Don't insult his friends in front of him. Keith learns this the hard way.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Despite being a rather friendly person, he can be utterly ruthless in combat if any of his friends or loved ones are in any danger. Just ask the Dark Sthesias.
  • Big Brother Instinct: He usually has this around Aichi and his other counterparts, looking out for them as if he was their older brother.
  • Big Brother Mentor: Leos has apparently taken on this role for Aichi Sendou. He gets Promoted to Adoptive Peer Parent alongside Sthesia for 108.
    • This gains a new angle where he personally offers to give Aichi some new MS training.
  • Big "SHUT UP!": Loses his temper at Kiko at one point for not letting a Mimic-Bot explain why he looks like a guy that Kiko sort of remembers.
Leos: Oh, for— (points to Kiko) YOU! SHUT UP! (then points to Mimic) And you... Start from the beginning, and explain it carefully.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: After attempting to break Aichi from being a PSY Qualia Zombie, he become one himself for a while. It took Sthesia beating him in a cardfight to break Leos out of it.
  • Chick Magnet: Downplayed, but so far he has attracted the attention of three different girls.
  • Composite Character: Essentially, this is the Extreme Gundam's big gimmick; it can access loadouts and weapons that pay homage to various Gundams throughout the metaseries.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Dishes out one against Primo's Rising Gundam to demonstrate his entering Knight Templar Big Brother mode.
  • David vs. Goliath:
    • The centaur-like Mystic Rephaser is taken on by the lightly armed Extreme Gundam when the former attempts to attack the Room's planet. Leos actually wins, even though the core unit escapes.
    • He goes on to do this three more times, each time against a different Rephaser pilot. The latter fights essentially boil down to Beat Them at Their Own Game, which is helped by the Power Copying abilities of the Extreme Gundam.
  • Determinator: When he encountered Cross trying to sabotage his Gundam, he would not give in. Even if he had a bleeding forehead and nearly crippled leg for his troubles.
  • Dual Wielding: The Extreme Gundam can dual wield two beam sabers in its default state and when wearing the Agios Face.
  • Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: In the middle of venting to Misaki about how screwed up Aichi being Brainwashed and Crazy is, he realizes that Aichi has a crush on not Misaki, but Sthesia. And then lampshades how he didn't realise it sooner.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: With Cross. -EX- nearly killed Cross in the fight against Mk-II, and since then Cosmic Compiler and BLADE are more-or-less allies.
  • Good Cop/Bad Cop: He plays a downplayed Bad Cop role in interrogating Cuarto for the latter's role in freeing Acht from her room.
  • Guns Akimbo: Eclipse Face gives Leos access to two Variable Psyco Rifles, which can combine together to form more powerful blasts, similar to Wing Zero Custom's Twin Buster Rifle.
  • The Hero: The closest to the archetype in Cosmic Compiler. He more-or-less plays this role in both the Gundam Thieves and Cosmic Eldoran Wars arcs.
  • Heroic BSoD: Suffers this after Aichi gets captured by one of the Dark Sthesias.
  • Heroic RRoD: His use of the EXA Face against -EX- eventually resulted in him passing out after the latter was defeated.
  • "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight: When the brainwashed Aichi uses Avalanche Exia against Leos, Leos pleads to Aichi to recognise him, because he doesn't want to fight Aichi.
  • It's All My Fault: He feels totally responsible for allowing Aichi to get kidnapped by one of his enemies. It gets to the point that he is willing to go on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge just to find the kid.
  • Knight Templar Big Brother: During the fight against the Extreme Gundam Mk-II, Leos declares he'll kill -EX- for brainwashing Aichi to serve him.
  • Lady and Knight: The Knight to Sthesia's Lady, as he pilots the Extreme Gundam.
  • Let's You and Him Fight: Leos gets into a fight with Cross at one point over a misunderstanding. He fights a Brainwashed and Crazy Aichi not long after the latter had been captured by the Gundam Thieves.
  • Lighter and Softer: Than any of the Gjallarhorn characters, by far. Subverted when it turns out he has an enemy that is willing to brainwash one of his best friends, augment dangerous superweapons and commit mass-murder of innocent civilians and military targets alike just to gain the chance of rewriting history.
  • Macross Missile Massacre: Another ability of the Eclipse Face is to fire missile salvos or, failing that, launch massive cluster missile pods off one of the Eclipse Face's shoulder racks.
  • Mecha Expansion Pack: The different Faces consist of specialized parts designed to connect to hard-points on the base Extreme Gundam's body. Justified because the designs are not only derived from Mobile Suits used in previous conflicts but were also tested thoroughly in General Answer's Cyberspace environment.
  • Multiform Balance: Since Leos's Gundam is one that can technically assume either of three variants at the drop of a hat, this is necessary to ensure he doesn't naturally get overwhelmed:
  • Nice Guy: Friendly and polite to a fault.
  • O.C. Stand-in: Not a lot of Leos's characterisation is well known, aside from certain personality traits flaring up when he uses the different forms of the Extreme Gundam Type Leos since the Gundam-EXA manga that ties in with the Extreme VS games haven't been translated apart from one chapter.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: He is noticeably on edge, easier to anger, and visibly frustrated with how High Command are treating Aichi's capture by Sthesia Awar Acht.
  • Power Copying: The Extreme Gundam's "Faces" are designed to borrow attributes from various Gundams, each with their own strengths and drawbacks. For example, the Xenon Face is modelled after Domon Kasshu's personal Gundams, the Eclipse Face is basically a combination of the Wing Gundam Zero and the Gundam X with some extra bells and whistles, and the Agios Face is essentially the Hi-Nu Gundam.
  • Power Glows: Whenever the Extreme Gundam enters any of its upgraded Faces, there are several Tron Lines on the Gundam's body that glows a fiery orange.
  • The Power of Friendship: All it took to snap Aichi out of his Brainwashed state was to personally apologise that he didn't get Aichi out of there sooner. The poor kid immediately broke down into tears.
  • Red/Blue Is Heroic: Zig-zagged. Normally, he wears a blue uniform, and his Gundam is mainly coloured red, but nevertheless, he is certainly a heroic person.
  • Split Personality: Of a sort. When Leos uses one of the three Faces of the Extreme Gundam, his personality changes to reflect the pilot of the Gundam that primarily inspired the Face's design and role. It's implied that this is a side-effect of the Face system that the Gundam uses.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: When he gets turned into a PSY Qualia Zombie by Aichi, he's suspended from his Gundam piloting duties by Kyoya.
  • UST: He has this going on with Sthesia, as they both have feelings for each other, but Cannot Spit It Out. He finally reciprocates her feelings after she surprises him in a Sexy Santa Dress.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Leos getting stuck in the Room eventually leads to -EX- learning about it, who in turn hatches a plan to conquer it for himself and exploit it for his own gains.
  • The Worf Effect: Leos suffers from this early on in Cosmic Eldoran Wars. He gets thrown around by the Seltsam pretty easily.

Sthesia Awar

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sthesia_awar.jpg
Princess of Truth
Another member of Cosmic Compiler, Sthesia is Leos's designated Holoactor. A kind and warm-hearted girl, she does her best to guide Leos on his missions inside General Answer. Originally, she would keep in contact with Leos through a communication device, before eventually finding a way to the Room herself.

  • Action Fashionista: She's been hinted to have an interest in fashion as her many outfits can show.
  • Anger Born of Worry: This is her first appearance on Leos's communication device, as she was worried when he had disappeared off of Jupiter X for little to no reason. Not to mention her pleading Leos to not go after Aichi after the latter had been kidnapped and turned into a weapon by -EX-.
  • Badass Adorable: She is a perfectly sweet and friendly girl, but is not afraid to help out Leos personally.
  • Bait-and-Switch: When Sthesia meets Aichi Sendou Cuarto, she initially seems to be warming up to him fairly quickly, but turns down his romantic advances because she sees him as a younger brother, which is no surprise, given Cuarto's original template.
  • Cool Big Sis: Like Leos, she's taken on this role for Aichi. And also like Leos, she gets Promoted to Adoptive Peer Parent for 108.
    • She even helps out Aichi with trying to cheer Misaki up while Hyperion are causing problems for the entire city.
  • Colour Failure: She suffers from this and also faints when she realises that she will eventually have a child with Leos in the form of their future daughter. Adoption is one thing, but an actual future biological daughter is a completely different kettle of fish.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Her reaction to seeing a younger Aichi resulted in her unintentionally squeezing him.
  • Dude Magnet: Like Leos, she has gained a small number of people of the opposite sex that are interested in her, such as Leos, Cross, Aichi, and Cuarto. And it's later revealed that -EX- developed a crush on her as well.
  • Friendly Sniper: Used a sniper rifle to provide support fire for Leos.
  • The Gadfly: She apparently has fun teasing her friends. Misaki is a victim of this.
  • Good Cop/Bad Cop: Sthesia plays the Good Cop role while interrogating Cuarto.
  • Heartwarming Moments: She suggests adopting 108 as Leos's little brother.
  • Heroic BSoD: Sthesia had a mild case of this while Leos was a PSY Qualia Zombie, as she was unsure what to do when it happened. Thanks to helping Dori free Ryusei from his PSY Qualia Zombie-ness, she gained enough confidence to bring Leos back.
  • Hidden Depths: Turns out she's well-versed in Mobile Suit design. And happens to know -EX- on a personal level.
  • Hope Springs Eternal: Her general philosophy.
  • Kinetic Weapons Are Just Better: Elma indirectly gives her a heavy-duty sniper rifle, along with some Powered Armor.
  • Lady and Knight: The Lady to Leos's Knight, as she has been nicknamed the "Princess of Truth."
  • Light Is Good: Wears a primarily white outfit, and is very much one of the good guys.
  • Mission Control: This is basically her job description as a Holoactor.
  • Nice Girl: Very much so. To the point that she feels bad for Aichi when he finally admits his crush on her because she actually has feelings for Leos.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Sthesia guiding Leos on how to build the Stargate, and subsequently bring the Extreme Gundam to him, tells -EX- exactly how to access the Room through inter-dimensional means.
  • O.C. Stand-in: Like Leos, she doesn't have much in the way of canon characterization, but she has been known to play the occasional trick on her friends, while still being a hopeful young lady.
  • Rapunzel Hair: Her white hair reaches down to her skirt.
  • Sexy Santa Dress: She has since started wearing one for Christmas, partly to help her confess her feelings for Leos. It works.
  • Shipper on Deck: For Aichi and Misaki, to the point of convincing Leos to use the Extreme Gundam to spy on them from underwater when the cardfighters undergo a Relationship Upgrade.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: While she can't reciprocate Aichi's feelings, she actually does tell him that maybe the girl for him is a "a lot closer to him than he may think."
  • UST: She has this going on with Leos, as they both have feelings for each other, but Cannot Spit It Out.
  • Voice with an Internet Connection: This is how she initially appeared in the Room, as a holographic projection on Leos's communication device, before riding through the Stargate in the Extreme Gundam.
  • Zettai Ryouiki: Her high boots reach up to her thighs, making her a Class A.

Keith Ors

Main mecha: CC-MP7876 G-Stream, CC-MP7876S/KO G-Stream Sniper (Keith Ors Custom)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/keith_ors_portrait_7.PNG
Ace Marksman
Another of Cosmic Compiler's Ace Pilots, Keith is a talented marksman and an individual who takes protocol very seriously. He once applied to be the pilot of the Extreme Gundam prototype being developed on Jupiter X, but he lost out to Leos. Since then, he has been very critical of his fellow G-Diver.

  • Ace Pilot: He was another candidate to pilot the Extreme Gundam, but unfortunately, Leos just happened to be better.
  • Anti-Hero: He may be an abrasive Jerkass, but his loyalty is to Cosmic Compiler.
  • The Cynic: At one point, he was more-or-less convinced that Cosmic Compiler will eventually make the same mistakes that doomed humanity in the Universal Century Era, if not before then.
  • Cold Sniper: He's not one for jokes during operations as he normally uses a beam sniper rifle to engage targets, with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Emergency Weapon: His G-Stream's beam sabre is basically this.
  • Foil: While Leos is able to adapt to different combat styles, Keith can only focus on one, as a designated sniper. Also, to contrast Leos's easygoing and friendly personality, he is blunt and strict and considers that any civilian caught in the Gundam Thieves arc is simply collateral damage. Although, unlike Leos and Sthesia, Keith is almost convinced that Cosmic Compiler may be doomed to repeat the mistakes that humanity made in its previous iterations.
  • Friend or Foe?: He nearly shot Omnimon while the Room's dimension was falling apart.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: He's never been able to let go of Leos becoming the chosen pilot of the Extreme Gundam.
  • Long-Range Fighter: He primarily uses a sniper-type G-Stream.
  • The Rival: His piloting abilities are second to Leos, and he doesn't appreciate how Leos was able to just be considered a superior pilot for the Extreme Gundam.

Themis Chiron

Main mecha: CC-MP7876 G-Stream, CC-MP7876C/TC G-Stream Cannon (Themis Chiron Custom)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/themis_chiron_3.jpg
The Engineer
One of Cosmic Compiler's engineers, Themis is perhaps not as active in the field as well as his fellow G-Divers. However, his engineering skills are crucial to maintaining the various G-Stream types that Cosmic Compiler possesses, and he is good friends with Pigna Hershey.

  • Backpack Cannon: The G-Stream Cannon has two large beam cannons that it uses for heavy bombardment maneuvres.
  • The Engineer: His job, to the point that Sthesia lampshades that Themis had to do Leos's share of MS maintenance by keeping the Extreme Gundam in top condition.
  • Genius Bruiser: Ideally, his G-Stream Cannon is meant to be a medium-range artillery support Mobile Suit, and combined with its thick armour, it's not to be underestimated.
  • Nice Guy: He's only trying to do his job, which would be fine if Pigna didn't constantly berate him every now and again.
  • The Reliable One: As The Engineer, he is one of the few people that can keep everyone's Mobile Suits working in Cosmic Compiler.
  • The Smart Guy: As The Engineer, he was able to determine that the Carnage Rephaser was partially inspired by a Gundam design from the After War era, namely the Gundam Double X.
  • You Gotta Have Blue Hair: One of the few Cosmic Compiler members to have vividly coloured hair, and it's blue.

Pigna Hershey

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pigna_hershey.jpg
Stubborn Ace
Main mecha: CC-MP7876N/PH G-Stream Custom (Pigna Hershey Custom)

Another one of Cosmic Compiler's top pilots, Pigna may be small, but she can handle anyone in a fight. Confident and easily irritable, she tends to jump into the fray and tends to push herself further in order to prove herself as a capable pilot for Cosmic Compiler. She's good friends with Themis Chiron.

  • Action Girl: More so than Sthesia.
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: She was actually concerned for Themis when -EX- grabbed ahold of the former's G-Stream Cannon.
  • The Big Gal: Impulsive, and quick to fight, she fits the bill compared to Keith and Themis.
  • Boring Yet Practical: Her G-Stream Custom may not be equipped with heavy beam weapons, or a fancy evolution system, but in the hands of someone as skilled as her, she can truly excel in it.
  • Custom Uniform: She wears customised opera gloves, and has no sleeves on her jacket.
  • Close-Range Combatant: All she has for a loadout is a beam saber, a shield and an assault rifle, none of which are great choices for long-range combat.
  • Fiery Redhead: Scarlet red hair and she's still irritable but is mostly a Genki Girl.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: She states as much that Themis and herself are friends through thick and thin.
  • Innocently Insensitive: She was only jokingly calling Themis a dork, but that was still enough to make 108 and Young Aichi a little nervous.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: She may be small, but she will kick your ass in Mobile Suit combat.
  • The Smurfette Principle: The only G-Stream pilot who's female.

    Dark Extreme Team

-EX- and the Dark Sthesias.

A group of rogue Cosmic Compiler members who have decided to take matters into their own hands after Sthesia Awar somehow managed to get Leos's personal Extreme Gundam to him in some interdimensional nexus.

In order to take advantage of this situation, they have stolen a prototype Extreme Gundam, as well as several experimental Phase-class Mobile Armour extensions. They are led by the artificial intelligence known as -EX-.

General Tropes

  • Artificial Human: All of the Dark Sthesias are actually clones made from Sthesia Awar's DNA, made by -EX- to try and have his own "Princess of Truth." When all these attempts failed, he decided to recruit him as his own minions.
  • Colour-Coded for Your Convenience: They all wear distinctly coloured outfits, and even their dialogue is colour-coded to reflect this.
  • Clones Are People, Too: Despite the Dark Sthesias all being made from Sthesia Awar's DNA, the four of them have relatively distinct appearances between each other, and have all developed different personalities with their own individual wants and fears to go along.
  • Darker and Edgier: This team is played more seriously than their Expies, the Dark Egg Vanguard.
  • Evil Is Bigger: All of the different Phases are essentially Mobile Armour-sized machines controlled by the Extreme Gundam, Meta Mecha style.
  • Knight of Cerebus: As soon as Primo makes her first appearance with Mystic Rephaser, things start to get significantly darker.
  • Numerical Theme Naming: The Dark Sthesias are identified this way, as their nicknames are numbers in another language.
    • "Primo" is Italian for "first."
    • "Sesto" is Italian for "sixth."
    • "Acht" is German for "eight".
    • "Nono" is Italian for "ninth."
  • The Psycho Rangers: Fittingly, there are five of them in this group, and they all have distinct positions, with the aforementioned colour-coded uniforms.
  • Undying Loyalty: All four Dark Sthesias are thoroughly indebted to -EX-, as he is their creator. Naturally, this meant after he unexpectedly resurfaced, they pledged their loyalty to him once more.

-EX-

Main mecha: TRZ-9872/Dp Extreme Gundam Dystopia Phase, TRZ-9872/AXE Extreme Gundam MK-II AXE.
An artificial intelligence designated at Mars I, -EX- has peered into the distant pasts shown by the General Answer's database. He believes that Cosmic Compiler is not doing enough to push the world towards peace, and so has decided to change that.

  • Ace Custom: Much like Leos has his own Extreme Gundam personalised to suit him, -EX- has his own custom Extreme Gundam, the MK-II AXE. It essentially serves as an Evil Counterpart to the EXA Face, painted in black and is initially shown to be connected to a Mobile Armour extension.
  • A.I. Is a Crapshoot: He's one of the few sentient Artificial Intelligences to be shown in the entire Gundam franchise, and he's not exactly the most stable person. For one, he believes that he is the rightful ruler of humanity after witnessing the horrors recreated in General Answer, and believes that his very human creators are ridiculously naive in thinking they alone can save humanity from their current rut. For another, he has an unsettlingly Entitled to Have You attitude toward Sthesia Awar, the "Princess of Truth".
  • Back from the Dead/Demonic Possession: While Cosmic Compiler believe that -EX- has been terminated, it's revealed that he slipped a small piece of his consciousness into Cross, which the Dark Sthesias eventually discover and bring the latter back to their base. The resulting experiments lead to -EX- re-emerging as a consciousness inhabiting the Skell pilot's Cyborg body.
  • Big Bad: He's the one that orchestrated the entire Gundam Thieves operation, and he has some massive ambitions.
  • Evil Counterpart: He is one to Leos, for all intents and purposes: he pilots an Extreme Gundam variant, he has explored various simulations of the past conflicts recreated in General Answer and has a crush on Sthesia Awar.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: While Aichi was under their control, even -EX- felt disgusted around some of Nono's comments.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: He's killed by Leos, who is not only Cosmic Compiler's best pilot, but also the surrogate brother of the boy he brainwashed.
  • Love Makes You Evil: It's implied that his crush on Sthesia was a catalyst for his bid to Take Over the World.
  • Mysterious Past: Not much is known about his origins, only that he used to work with Sthesia, and that he was rumoured to be connected to Aire and Tereno Notitia.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: One would think that he kept the Dark Sthesias around because of this. They may not be his "ideal" of Sthesia, but they're damn useful as allied pilots as far as he's concerned.
  • Stalker with a Crush: It's implied that he knew about Leos building the Stargate in the Room because he had been watching Sthesia for all that time.
  • Take Over the World: His main goal is to do this by using the Room's dimension to force a Cosmic Retcon.
  • Unreliable Narrator: Later events after the Gundam Thieves plot-let suggest that -EX- was manipulating the truth of the world that Cosmic Compiler resides in while brainwashing Aichi Sendou.
  • Villainous Crush: It's heavily implied that he had a fairly big one on Sthesia. It would explain why he has a bunch of clones based on her, and why he describes her as his "queen".
  • Villain Takes an Interest: The reason that he had Acht kidnap Aichi? He noticed the boy had something special: PSY Qualia.
  • Visionary Villain: He believes that his plans to have Cosmic Compiler take over the Solar System is for the better, as humanity is still scheming and fighting amongst themselves, and he generally believes they have the right to control the System with their extensive knowledge and technology at their disposal.

Sthesia Awar Primo

Main mecha: MRI-3725/RMp Extreme Gundam Mystic Rephaser

The first of the Dark Sthesias to appear, Primo is the youngest-looking Dark Sthesia and is a bit playful, while being somewhat sadistic. She pilots the centaur-like Mystic Rephaser Mobile Armour.

  • Blade On A Stick: One of her primary weapons when piloting a Mobile Suit/Armour.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: She becomes the victim of one of these at the hands of Leos Alloy in Knight Templar Big Brother mode. Thankfully, Leos leaves her alone after wrecking her Rising Gundam.
  • Jack of All Stats: Her Mystic Rephaser is this compared to the other Rephasers; it's equipped with two mega-particle weapons, has decent mobility, can use its Lance as a sufficient melee weapon and can disorient its targets by generating a strong gust of wind.
  • Enfant Terrible: She may be a child, but she is capable of using a powerful superweapon effectively and ruthlessly.
  • Kick the Dog: She once tries to kill Misaki and Aichi with a mega particle weapon for no other reason than to spite Leos.
  • Took a Level in Dumbass: Ever since the defeat of -EX-, she's been mostly seen with Primero, her male counterpart, and she doesn't seem as smart as she was before.
  • Our Centaurs Are Different: In this case, a giant robotic heavily-armed centaur piloted by a child.
  • Warm-Up Boss: Essentially serves as one for the Gundam Thieves arc.

Sthesia Awar Sesto

Main mecha: MRI-3725/RCp Extreme Gundam Carnage Rephaser.

The second of the Dark Sthesias to appear, Sesto is the technical genius of the group. She usually tends to herself and is surprisingly utilitarian among the group. She pilots the heavily-armed Carnage Rephaser.

  • Birds of a Feather: For some reason, she seems to feel this towards her Dark Egg Vanguard counterpart, Sesto.
  • BFG: The Carnage Rephaser is equipped with two of these on its backpack.
  • Genius Bruiser: Not only is she arguably the smartest out of the Dark Sthesias, the Carnage Rephaser she pilots is ridiculously powerful.
  • Hidden Depths: You wouldn't know it, but Sesto has a rather healthy collection of romance manga and doujinshi that she reads in her spare time.
  • Kick the Dog: She managed to blow off one of Anna's arms with one of the Carnage Rephaser's hip-mounted cannons.
  • Mad Scientist: To the Dark Sthesias and their master, she is definitely this. One notable example is assisting -EX- with turning Aichi into a brainwashed pilot.
  • Mighty Glacier: The Carnage Rephaser may be the slowest of the Rephasers, but it packs some ridiculous firepower.
  • Oh, Crap!: Goes into this when she realises that the Extreme Gundam copied the Carnage Rephaser's abilities, and was about to fire its own Carnage Striker.
  • Only Sane Man: While she helped with Zwei's plan to torment Sthesia by roboticising 108, she was still willing to call the boy out on his pettiness toward Sthesia.
  • The Stoic: Rarely loses her cool.
  • Walking Arsenal: Her Carnage Rephaser is loaded with missiles, cannons, rocket launchers, black hole mortar launchers, and two sets of arm-mounted claws. (Not that it really needs those claws, of course.)

Sthesia Awar Acht

Main mecha: MRI-3275/RTp Extreme Gundam Tachyon Rephaser

The third Dark Sthesia to appear, Acht is somewhat level-headed, if a bit aggressive and irritable at times. She also tends to try and keep her sister, Nono, in line. Acht pilots the heavily-armoured, but surprisingly fast Extreme Gundam Tachyon Rephaser.

  • BFS: The Tachyon Slicer is an electrically-enhanced beam sabre that can cut massive swathes around it, making sure to eviscerate all who come close enough.
  • Close-Range Combatant: Her Tachyon Rephaser was designed to be ridiculously powerful in melee combat, shrugging off simultaneous attacks by a Mobile Suit and at least two Skells.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: She's not a fan of how Nono is willing to manipulate Aichi into becoming a fanatical bodyguard to her, because of the latter's crush on the original Sthesia.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Literally. Not only is the Tachyon Rephaser a lot faster than it looks, but it also possesses the ability to use lightning-based attacks.
  • Master Swordswoman: Her apparent choice in Mobile Suits suggests that she's fairly capable with a sword. Tachyon Rephaser's use of multiple bladed weapons, including a modified Tachyon Slicer would support this.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After having her Astray Red Dragon thoroughly wrecked, she somehow wandered into the path of a giant monster. Her immediate response was a combination of this, Oh, Crap! and copious amounts of Cluster F-Bomb servings.
  • Tsundere: Aside from having a big ego half the time, she is surprisingly compassionate and caring. A good example would be how she treated Aichi as a kid who might just be out of his depth.
  • Who Wears Short Shorts: Acht is the only Dark Sthesia to wear shorts as opposed to the skirts that the other three wear.
  • You Can't Thwart Stage One: While her Tachyon Rephaser Pack was destroyed, she managed to nab Aichi while she made her escape.

Sthesia Awar Nono

Main mecha: MRI-3275/RIp Extreme Gundam Ignis Rephaser.

The last of the Dark Sthesias to formally make an appearance, Nono is flirtatious as well as manipulative, hoping to use her feminine wiles to seduce men to do her bidding. She pilots the devastating, yet somewhat graceful Extreme Gundam Ignis Rephaser.

  • Attack Drone: The Ignis Rephaser is packed with these.
  • Buxom Is Better: She's fairly well-endowed as the second-in-command of a rampant AI.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: She never once attempts anything with 108, as he's simply too young. And Nono actually leaves Ryusei alone upon learning that he's the future child of Aichi and Misaki.
  • Glass Cannon: Her Ignis Rephaser is basically this compared to the other Rephasers. Not only is most of its armaments derived from a collection of Attack Drones, but its actual defences against attacks are terribly weak.
  • Irony: She's in love with her master and creator, -EX-, but -EX- mostly ignores her attempts to get his attention in favour of hunting down and trying to capture the real Sthesia Awar. This is especially apparent since he initially created the Dark Sthesias to have his own Sthesia.
  • Hidden Depths: She eventually reveals to Cuarto that she was in love with -EX-, her creator, but she eventually realised that she would never replace the real Sthesia that -EX- was infatuated with. As a result, she was all too willing to seduce Aichi, as it gave her someone that was affectionate towards her.
  • Lady and Knight: Deliberately invoked while Aichi was temporarily Reforged into a Minion.
  • Lady of War: She tries to give off this image, but the mileage may vary on whether it works.
  • Manipulative Bitch: Is more than willing to take advantage of Aichi's brainwashed state to turn him into her fanatical bodyguard.
  • Ms. Fanservice: She's significantly more curvy and "adult" than the original Sthesia. The fact she speaks in a flirtatious tone a good chunk of the time and sometimes poses suggestively does not help. Her flirtatious attitude eventually gets downplayed, as she mainly focuses her flirting onto Cuarto, and is shown to have further Hidden Depths than initially shown.
  • Pink Means Feminine: Her Ignis Rephaser is coloured light pink, but it's no less dangerous than the other Rephasers.
  • Sickeningly Sweethearts: Anytime her and Cuarto flirt, expect either Sesto or Acht to make fun of their intimacy, or at the very least, voice disgust at it.
  • Subordinate Excuse: Presumably one of the reasons she stuck around with -EX- was this, as she was completely enamoured with him throughout her life.
  • The Tease: Making all kinds of Double Entendre remarks and being a flirt to all men she sees might as well be second nature to her. As it turns out, she's all too happy to do this to her Spear Counterpart, Cuarto.
  • The Vamp: By making Aichi believe that she was Sthesia, she managed to turn him into her personal Knight.

    Avalon Squadron

Avalon Squadron

An elite Cosmic Compiler Mobile Suit team, Avalon are considered some of the best pilots in the world. Led by Kyoya Kujo, they are the ones who serve as the vanguard for evacuating refugees when the Room is about to suffer a dimensional collapse,

  • Ace Custom: All three of them possess custom Gundams, and they're fairly distinct in their design.
  • Adaptational Badass: In Gundam Build Divers, they were a few of the best players in a VRMMORPG, with talented craftsmanship skills for Gunpla modelling. This time, they're full-fledged Mobile Suit pilots as part of an organisation dedicated to finding out the secrets of the past to secure the future.
  • The Cavalry: Their first appearance mainly consisted of giving reinforcements to the Nexus's combatants and allowing a good few on the residents to evacuate on their ship, the Excelsior.
  • Canon Welding: Originally, they were simple Diver players for a VR-enabled MMORPG. However, in this universe, that was their origin before becoming one of the most well-known and skilful squadrons in all of Cosmic Compiler, to the point of having their own Mobile Suits created from their Gunpla's data.
  • Custom Uniform: They wear their own distinct uniform, which differs heavily from the standard Cosmic Compiler uniforms.
  • Elites Are More Glamorous: Very much so, as their skillsets were what allowed them to show up in the original Nexus during the Skaven Crisis.

Kyoya Kujo

The leader of Avalon Squadron and the commander of the Excelsior, Kyoya is a reasonable man and skilled Gundam pilot who personally led Cosmic Compiler's forces against the Skaven. He has since taken up the position of being the highest-ranked member of Cosmic Compiler in the new Nexus.

  • Authority Equals Asskicking: He's been noted to be one of Cosmic Compiler's best pilots, with a highly tuned Ace Custom to boot.
  • Big Good: He is the highest-ranking officer representing Cosmic Compiler in the Nexus, and as a result, all Cosmic Compiler members are effectively under his command.
  • The Captain: He fills this role on the Excelsior, however unlike most Gundam ship captains, he's also a highly-skilled pilot.
  • The Chains of Commanding: He hates that he's forced to lock up one of his best pilots because of a possibility of being compromised by the PSY Qualia Zombie "sickness."
  • Composite Character: He's basically the same guy in Gundam Build Divers, however one key difference is that he is also a level-headed ship Captain, much like Bright Noa.
  • Nice Guy: Despite being a commanding officer of a military N.G.O. Superpower, he's undoubtedly polite and is fairly easygoing.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: He's this to Leos and Sthesia, as he trusts their input in regards to all things Nexus-related.
  • Shipper on Deck: Subtly implied to be one for Leos and Sthesia around Christmas 2018.

Emilia Sharpe

One of Commander Kujo's top lieutenants, Emilia is an intelligent woman who happens to be very straightforward. She pilots the Impulse Gundam Arc.

  • BFG: Her Arc Rifle is large enough to dwarf the Extreme Gundam's Variable Psycho Rifle.
  • Friendly Sniper: She's not as cold as Keith, but she's still a capable shot. And she actually apologises for Karuna's behaviour towards Ayame when she guides the ninja scout to her designated quarters.
  • Long-Range Fighter: Her Impulse Gundam Arc is equipped with a powerful mega beam rifle as its main weapon, with two backup hip-mounted beam cannons.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The coolheaded Blue Oni to Karuna's Red Oni.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: Pretty much the poster girl for this in Cosmic Compiler.
  • The Strategist: Avalon Squadron's designated tactical officer, as it happens.

Karuna Yukimori

One of Commander Kujo's top lieutenants, Karuna is carefree and impulsive, but there is no mistake in the talent that he possesses when piloting a Mobile Suit. He pilots the Impulse Gundam Lancier.

  • Boisterous Bruiser: It's a bit downplayed. He may be one of Cosmic Compiler's best, but he's still prone to being cocky.
  • Boom Stick: The Lancier Javelin is the Impulse Gundam Lancier's main weapon and it can generate a Laser Blade over the tip to boot, which can also double as a ranged attack in certain cases.
  • Casanova Wannabe: The first thing he does when he sees Ayame is to start flirting with her. Ayame, for her part, basically ignores it, and Emilia is quick to call him out on it.
  • Close-Range Combatant: His Impulse Gundam Lancier is meant for close-quarters combat, as his Lancier Javelin is a melee weapon.
  • Everyone Has Standards: As soon as he and the rest of Avalon Squadron discover that Ayame is, in fact, a schoolgirl called Aya, his reaction is to panic and then apologize for the trouble. Since then, he's dialled his Casanova attempts way down.
  • Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: Karuna's Impulse Gundam Lancier is also equipped with a shield so that it can shrug off attacks while charging.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: His Impulse Gundam Lancier has a dimmed pink and maroon colouration to it, but that doesn't stop Karuna from being a Mobile Suit pilot.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The impulsive and cocky Red Oni to Emilia's Blue Oni.

    Civilians

Dorothea "Dori" Alloy / "Lydia"

One of Ryusei Sendou's best friends, and the daughter of the infamous Leos and Sthesia Alloy of Cosmic Compiler, Dorothea Alloy, or "Dori" to her friends, tagged along with Ryusei into the Nexus, to try and keep him out of trouble, along with her brother, Tsubasa.

Unfortunately, the weirdness of the Nexus meant that they couldn't reunite for a while, so it took her a couple tries to find her best friend. Luckily, she found them both, and regularly keeps an eye on them, while trying to avoid encountering her parents.

  • Childhood Friends: She's basically been friends with Ryusei ever since they were little. Apparently, Cosmic Compiler perfected interdimensional travel between their own Earth and the "Vanguard Earth," so visits were fairly common.
  • Cool Big Sis: She's this to Tsubasa, even if Tsubasa is technically older than her thanks to the latter being put in cryosleep a few years before she was born.
  • Generation Xerox: Like her parents, she's been recruited into Cosmic Compiler, and is working to be a pilot like her father.

Survivor Misaki Tokura

A version of Misaki Tokura who survived through a Zombie Apocalypse, Misaki managed to survive along with Shin Nitta for weeks until she was brought into the Nexus. From there, she was brought into the Excelsior's infirmary to be given medical attention, before she reunited with Survivor Aichi Sendou.

So far, the two have been occasionally going out, and taking the opportunity to relax in the Nexus.

Lockon Stratos

Main mecha: GN-002 Gundam Dynames, GN-002/MC Gundam Blizzard

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lockon_stratos_and_gundam_dynames_6.png
"Targeting and firing!"
One of the four Gundam Meisters of Celestial Being, Lockon is the pilot of Gundam Dynames and the ace sniper of the team. An Irishman with a friendly demeanour and coolheaded personality, he is dedicated to the cause of eliminating war through armed intervention. He accidentally found himself on an Earth conquered by a Mad Scientist called Eggman, and has joined up with the Room's party after rescuing a certain cardfighter named Aichi Sendou.

Now, normally you'd think that his Gundam would be a giant, unstoppable war machine, yes? Well, that's not true. Apparently, when he accidentally went through the dimensional rift that led him to this Dystopian Earth, he and his Gundam were shrunken to the point of Dynames ending up the size of a standard human. It's rather bizarre.

  • Ace Pilot: He's a Gundam Meister, what do you expect?
  • Attack Drone: Gundam Blizzard's Holster Bits and Rifle Bits function as defensive and offensive versions of this.
  • Beam Spam: Gundam Blizzard has the capability to deal massive amounts of beam rifle fire thanks to its multiple Attack Drone rifles.
  • BFG: His primary weapon is an anti-MS beam sniper rifle that would be the equivalent of a .50 calibre rifle. Gundam Blizzard gives him 14 upgraded rifles, all of which can be remote-controlled.
  • Big Brother Mentor: Lockon essentially plays this role for Aichi, despite being a lot smaller than the boy, currently.
  • The Big Guy: He's this for Team Rush, compared to Bearach, Vosi/Zuki, Link and Aichi. Piloting a ridiculously durable Gundam with some of the most powerful beam weapons ever seen would automatically qualify him as such. His upgrade to Gundam Blizzard takes this Big Guy status to new heights.
  • Boss Rush: Lockon takes on the Deadly Six at one point, and all by himself. After he delivers a Curb-Stomp Battle to Zeena and Master Zik, the remaining two, Zomom and Zor decide to just not bother taking him on, especially since Zavok decided to go after the others instead while Lockon was fighting them.
  • Catchphrase: "Targeting and firing," or any variation of the phrase.
  • Casual Danger Dialogue
  • Combat Pragmatist: As soon as he sees Vosi crack open a whip a fair distance away from him and Aichi near the Deadly Six, he immediately proceeds to start firing his sniper rifle. The first shot hit Zomon square in the face.
  • Dual Wielding: In melee combat, he can use two beam sabres.
  • Emergency Weapon: Despite being a sniper-type Mobile Suit, Dynames is well-prepared for encountering close-range threats.
  • Expy: Gundam Blizzard is essentially a repainted Gundam Zabanya that just happens to be developed in the Fun Is Infinite-verse seven years before its canon debut.
  • Fighting Irish: Downplayed, but Lockon can be an arrogant Irishman of a marksman sometimes.
  • Friendly Sniper: He uses the Dynames to shoot down enemies from afar, as is a pretty friendly guy.
  • Genius Bruiser: Despite being the designated Big Guy of Team Rush, Lockon uses his quick wit and Haro's technical support to subdue his enemies.
  • Guns Akimbo: If necessary, he can wield his dual beam pistols to defend himself. Gundam Blizzard lets him dual wield sniper rifles.
  • The Gunslinger: Dynames was built around the idea of ranged combat, so having three handheld beam guns would certainly make it qualify. Gundam Blizzard brings it Up To Eleven.
  • Long-Range Fighter: Gundam Dynames allows Lockon the highest combat effective range out of all of Team Rush. This proves to be a much-needed ability against the Deadly Six.
  • Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: Dynames has armour plating on the shoulders that can be swung forwards or backwards to protect itself. Blizzard's Holster Bits are a remote-controlled version of this.
  • Macross Missile Massacre: Dynames can fire small helpings of missiles from its skirt armour. Gundam Blizzard is equipped with a much larger amount of missile launchers lined throughout its body, bringing the total payload up to 76, nearly ten times the original amount of missiles that Dynames could fire.
  • Mid-Season Upgrade: Dynames gets upgraded into the GN-002/MC Gundam Blizzard, which Lockon immediately heads out in to take on Infinite.
  • Mobile-Suit Human: Humorously played with. Dynames is shrunken to the size of a standard human, so Lockon ends up being a tiny human as a result. It was to the point that Aichi thought that Lockon was Dynames itself, with Haro being a weird personality quirk.
  • No Kill like Overkill: When attacking Mephiles, in Trans-Am Mode,, he stabs the entity and fires several blasts from his beam pistols at close-range. This would be the final blow before Mephiles dies.
  • One-Man Army: Gundam Blizzard turns Lockon into one.
  • Robot Buddy: His trusty Haro, who is connected to Dynames's secondary systems. He can control Dynames's defenses while Lockon concentrates on targeting and firing. Haro took control of Dynames's hands to fill out a form for Lockon.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: The Manly Man to Aichi's Sensitive Guy. Lockon is a laid-back and confident Ace Pilot who has access to the powerful weaponry that Dynames uses in its loadout and is generally rather masculine. Aichi, however, is a somewhat shy high-school student who hates fighting but will do so only to protect others, making him very gentle compared to Lockon.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: The "Irish Sniper edition" pretty much summarises Lockon this way.
  • Super Mode: Trans-Am Mode, which he first uses against Mephiles. In practice, the mode pushes Dynames to perform at triple its normal specs.
  • Token Good Teammate: Of Team Diamonds in Fate/Royal Shuffle.
  • Walking Armoury: Gundam Blizzard is armed to the teeth, with multiple missile launchers, remote-controlled guns and remote-controlled holster-shields, having 14 of each gun and holster-shield. Not only does this give Lockon an incredible amount of precision firepower, but they can also be configured to deliver Wave-Motion Gun-style attacks. The result is an absolute One-Man Army of a machine that could potentially take on Eggman's forces single-handedly.
  • You Shall Not Pass!: Lockon invokes this trope in order to provide a distraction.
