• Dummied Out: Lots and lots of stuff may be removed and/or unfinished, mainly content still in development, and the Debug Room is blocked off so it can't be accidentally stumbled upon during normal gameplay. The wiki archives old versions of the game, so it's still possible to experience such content if you know which version it's in.
  • Whenever an author leaves the project, their worlds are removed from subsequent versions and any rewards from their worlds (wallpapers, menu themes, Kura Puzzles, etc.) are unlocked by alternate means or replaced. Ruri and wataru are notable examples of such former authors, although wataru's content was re-added in version 0.119d (October 2022).
  • Author GALAXY had numerous things to her name removed, such as an entire sub-area of GALAXY Town, an event where Urotsuki was shot by citizens for attempting to chainsaw them, and, most infamously, a rather crude replica of the Uboa event from Yume Nikki, which generated controversy among players.
  • There was a Jump Scare in one of the Library's rooms that used to exist but was removed, though the graphic used for it remains in the game's files. Probably because it wasn't actually as scary as intended in addition to being a cheap scare out of nowhere.
  • An early version of wallpaper #149 featured Urotsuki putting on her School Swimsuit in the Bathhouse...with Toplessness from the Back. It was quickly replaced with a less explicit version.
• Screwed by the Lawyers:
  • Ether Caverns used to have background music that was a slowed down version of one of the themes for Happy Town in LSD: Dream Emulator. Due to copyright concerns, the track was removed from the game as of version 0.112h and was replaced with original BGM in future versions.
  • Version 0.116i patch 7 replaced the Matoran Keyboard's alphabet with a cipher alphabet found in a book in the Library.
• Word of Gay: Character Marina has been stated to be transgender by her creator, noildoof (who also made some maps of the game), which was allegedly inspired by a theory of the original Yume Nikki.
