• Acting for Two: The last four Yatter Kingdom Guardian Gods (Guards 9-12) are all voiced by the same person.
• Actor Allusion: Episode 4 introduces General Goro, the first non-Mook antagonist. He's voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama and, unsurprisingly, the character's personality is very similar to Viral with identical attributes of Guy Shishioh, only darker.
• Celebrity Voice Actor: Dokurobei is voiced by the Japanese entertainer Hirohito Hori (better known by his mononym, Hori).
• The Other Darrin: This is the first time Dokurobei has been voiced by someone other than Junpei Takiguchi, due to Takiguchi's death in 2011.
• Sequel Gap: 7 years if one goes by Yatterman's 2008 remake, and 38 if one goes by the 1977 series. Though given how both series are canon, the gap between both the 2008 and 1977 series is 31 years.
