Trivia / X in X Minutes

Go To

  • Acting for Two: Despite the larger and varied cast for these parodies, this occasionally still comes up from time to time.
    • KaiserNeko, who already has this issue in the other Abridged series he worked on, voices both Tanjiro and Muzan in the Demon Slayer video. The My Hero Academia videos sees him voice Aoyama, Shigaraki, Koda.
    • Corinne Sudberg (aka. Megami33) voices Tsuyu, Yaoyorozu, Toru in the MHA videos as well.
    • Brendan Blaber voices Shoto Tokodori and Principal Nezu.
  • Cowboy BeBop at His Computer:
    • In their "Demon Slayer in 6 Minutes" video, they jokingly referred to the Hashira as the Gotei 13. This fails because the term Gotei 13 refers to the squads that the Captains led rather than just the Captains themselves.
    • In their "MHA S2 in 8 Minutes" video, Uraraka complains about being a Satellite Love Interest and asks if her character can be unrelated to Midoriya's for five minutes. Problem is, it was, as a major part of her characterization in the first half of Season 2 was wanting to be a hero to support her parents, and beat Bakugo without Midoriya's help. The complaints about her becoming a Satellite Love Interest didn't start until Season 3, and were quickly addressed in the Provisional License Exam arc and shifted focus to her desire to be a hero who saves people, including other heroes, rendering the Satellite Love Interest claim off-base.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices:
    • Polnareff is voiced by Brienne Olvera, a transfem non-binary voice actor.
    • The villainous old lady Enya Geil is voiced by the male KaiserNeko.
  • Outdated by Canon: My Hero Academia Season 1 in 5 Minutes has everyone in 1-A introducing themselves with a single sentence, Uraraka's being that she's "a love interest who's never gonna get enough screentime!" Both the Anime and Manga however would soon after concurrently give her focus that many fans considered highlights of their respective arcs, with the complaint of Uraraka being Out of Focus many seeing as no longer applying.
  • Role Reprise: Anthony "Antfish" Sardinha reprises his role as DIO in both Jojo videos covering Phantom Blood and Stardust Crusaders, having previously voiced him in his own series, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Abridged.
  • You Look Familiar:
    • Frequent TFS collaborator Brendan Blaber voiced Mummy in My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising. Here, he voices Shoto Tokodori and Principal Nezu.
    • Sean Chiplock voice matched Jonah Scott as Legoshi after debuting in the second season of the Beastars anime voicing Carl.
      • Chiplock later gets to voice match Matthew Mercer himself as Jotaro Kujo, after voicing several Jojo characters in the official release (Toyohiro Kanedaichi, Guido Mista, and Sorbet).
    • Speaking of Jonah Scott earlier, things would get full circle for him and Sean Chiplock as he would later voice Iggy the Dog in Stardust Crusaders (Part 2) in 9 Minutes under the moniker as Jojo Scoot, after voicing Fromaggio in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.
