• Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: The backs of the home VHS releases somehow confused Graziella with Yaya, showing the correct pictures and descriptions, but the wrong names.
• Crossdressing Voices: Bo was voiced by Liz MacRae.
• Dueling Shows: This show premiered on Nick Jr. in the United Kingdom at the same time as Tweenies, another preschool series that was set in a home daycare. Because very few homes in the United Kingdom had pay TV at the time, Tweenies took away most of the attention from Wimzie.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Has been off the air in many U.S. markets since August 2001, though others still air it, and there are official DVD releases.
• Production Posse: Some of the characters in this show are voiced by actors and actresses from Arthur. Sonja Ball (Wimzie) is Arthur's mom, Bruce Dinsmore (Horace) is Binky and Arthur's dad, Liz MacRae (Bo) is Binky's mom, and Holly Gauthier-Frankel (Loulou) is Fern.

  • Arthur: In the episode "Jenna's Bedtime Blues", Jenna turns on a show which has look-alikes of Jonas, Horace and Loulou asking the viewer to say the letter "P". Cinar, the studio who made Arthur, also created Wimzie's House.
• Screwed by the Network: PBS primed the show to be their next big hit, but a slew of new programming overshadowed the series, causing PBS affiliates to focus more on the newer shows in question than Wimzie's House, though some aired the show until August 2001.
