• Refitted for Sequel: There were originally plans in Prehistoric Park: Returned from Extinction for Nigel to step out of the park due to the author wanting to explore other plotlines that he felt Nigel wasn't suited for, only to abort this decision due to negative reader feedback and an inability to decide on how to handle the topic. This story explicitly features Nigel considering bowing out of the rescues due to a combination of age from the Setting Update and accumulating numerous injuries over the course of his adventures.
