- Actor Allusion: "An Elegant, Exclusive Atmosphere" shows Steve putting on his signature business suit while watching the opening to The Six Million Dollar Man. Later on, in "Velveeta", we're introduced to Lance McCrae, who is not only portrayed by an actor who used to play a bionic man himself, but also is commented on by Denise that he's so perfect "it's like [he was] created in a laboratory", giving her the idea for the Hunkenstein routine, which Lance himself eventually stars in.
