• Backed By the Navy: The music video for "In The Navy" was shot on deck of USS Reasoner in San Diego, the Navy not only didn't charge the group a dime but helped shoot the video. It was planned to be a recruitment bid but objections were raised about taxpayers supporting a controversial group. Oh the irony.
• Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: Victor Willis wrote the lyrics to "Macho Man" during breakfast on the morning that it was recorded. According to Randy Jones (the cowboy), the lyrics were hand-written and had egg and coffee stains on it.
