• Approval of God: Original comic creator Magdalene Visaggio has been openly enthusiastic in her support of the series (the first adaptation of one of her works), even praising many of the show's original elements (such as Winnibot) and Lighter and Softer tone, and was disappointed to see it cancelled.
• Friday Night Death Slot: After underperforming in its first three episodes, the series got booted to Thursday nights at 11.
• Screwed by the Network: Rather than trying to give it much of an assist, Syfy effectively abandoned the show, moving it to the Thursday night death slot (as mentioned above) and posting few advertisements for it. Little surprise, then, when Vagrant Queen became the fifth series on the channel to be cancelled in just three years, and the second to be axed with just one season under its belt.
