• Breaking News Interruption: Throughout much of the early half of 2020, the show's timeslot on CBC was constantly pre-empted by Justin Trudeau's daily address on the COVID-19 pandemic, usually occuring at the very beginning of the show. A clip of Gary the Unicorn, one of the CBC's puppet characters, informing the viewer of "special grown-up programming" that was about to air, always preceded this.
• Children Voicing Children: 14 year old Michela Luci as 8 year old True and 16 year old Anna Claire Bartlam as Grizelda, who is a similar age.
• The Danza: Zee was voiced by Dante Zee in Seasons 1-2.
• The Other Darrin: Zee was voiced by Dante Zee in Seasons 1-2, and is voiced by Nicolas Aqui in Season 3.
