• What Could Have Been:
  • Soundwave was originally going to have a line explaining that Megatron had forgotten that he exiled Starscream, which explains just why he's wondering where Starscream is. The episode makes an attempt to hide the cut by having Starscream's "I'm right here!" line come right after this.
  • The Aerialbots were supposed to go scouting alongside Powerglide.
  • A brief flashback, narrated by Megatron, was supposed to show the imprisoned Combaticons having their personality components removed back on Cybertron.
  • In the original version, only four of the Combaticons are able to refuel, with Brawl as the odd man out (thus averting the Plot Hole that arises in the episode proper). As a result, Bruticus runs out of power at the end of the battle, as opposed to the Stunticons just happening to arrive at the very moment Starscream claims victory.
