Trivia / Tom Fawkes

  • Bonus Episode: Episode 20.5 of The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes could be called one, seeing as how it is just a compilation of their failed attempts at fighting the True Final Boss of the game, and that is really it.
  • Colbert Bump: His Let's Plays received a lot of growth when he joined The Runaway Guys' Smash Wii U tournament as well as participating in Jon's livestreams.
  • Corpsing: When doing "TomDex" entries, he generally tries to keep a straight face. Due to the nature of Pokémon Infinite Fusion, however, there are a few moments where he can't help but laugh. Of particular note, his entry for Sylvdile (a fusion of Sylveon and Sandile) begins with him bursting out laughing while he has the mic effect turned on, and even after that, he still can't keep a straight face.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices: For someone with such a powerful baritone when need be, Tom can pull off female voices surprisingly well with characters in his Let's Plays, such as Severa in Fire Emblem: Awakening.
  • Development Hell: A Source Film Maker animation for his Kung Foot moment with The Runaway Guys—the moment in which Tom allegedly takes off his shirt—never saw anything beyond the initial setup stream, and remains in limbo.
  • Fan Community Nicknames: He refers to his viewers and followers as Tommunists.
  • He Also Did: In addition to his Let's Plays, Tom also did a Machinima series called "Smash Fighter". And he has done various animations for The Runaway Guys and Versus.
  • The Merch: Tommunist Party T-shirts were available for purchase at a couple occasions.
  • Milestone Celebration: Tom celebrates 10 years on YouTube...with a Twitch stream in which he shows off "Smash Fighter". After the stream, Tom removed the stream from his Twitch video list at his own volition, to show how ashamed he was of his old work.
  • Old Shame: As already established, "Smash Fighter" doesn't sit well with Tom nowadays.
  • Promoted Fanboy: Way before he worked with The Runaway Guys he made Source Filmmaker animations of certain bits from their Lps, but working with them hasn't stopped the animations coming out.
  • What Could Have Been: "Delta Nation" in Custom Smash was meant to be themed towards Byleth, but was adjusted to be used by any character. Tom mentioned this in the video, but it could also be gathered from a background object resembling the extended version of the Sword of the Creator and the stage using a Three Houses song.
