To The Moon trivia

• Development Gag: To the Moon is made in RPG Maker. The engine is obvious to those who are familiar with it, but the game makes no use of the combat system... except for a brief parody of turn-based RPG battle systems towards the beginning of the game.
• Diagnosis of God: On the 10th anniversary of the game, Kan Gao made a Twitter thread explaining why it's not explicitly stated in the game that River is autistic. He wanted to show it through her actions rather than just telling about them, and also encourage the players to look up her condition so they can be properly educated on it.
• Science Marches On: River's condition is listed as "pervasive developmental disorder", which is no longer in use as of the DSM 5. Additionally, Tony Attwood's work ^note there's a shout-out to him in the game has decreased in relevance to the autistic community.

A Bird Story trivia

• Fandom Nod: A Lets Player by the name of Cryaotic requested that Kan put a blender in the next game after having played To The Moon^note The two have been in contact since Cry played To the Moon when it was relatively unknown, and has given him a To the Moon music box and Steam codes to give away in the past. The presence of one in this wouldn't necessarily count, were it not for Kan Gao confirming the nod in his comment on the video.

Impostor Factory trivia

• Release Date Change: The game was originally set for a release in December 2020, but ended up getting pushed back to Spring 2021. The release date on the Steam page was updated to lampshade this:
  I know it said "End of 2020" but uhhh that could *technically* mean 2021..? (Spring!)
  • It was eventually released on September 30, 2021, or as the Steam page put it, May 153rd.
