• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Zig-zagged, this series did have a home release, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a streaming site with all 16 episodes.
• Screwed by the Network: After years of airing Whose Line Is It Anyway? as cheap filler in the Thursday 8pm timeslot (which had been perpetually unstable for the network since the cancellation of Mork & Mindy in 1982), ABC decided it was time to go back to war for the slot and sent this series into the slot, marking the first such attempt since Vengeance Unlimited was cancelled. Unfortunately, not only was Friends, the juggernaut that killed VU, still there and near the top of the ratings, but a second juggernaut had joined the slot in Survivor. Threat Matrix never stood a chance, premiering to near historically low ratings for the era and collapsing hard in the subsequent weeks, to the point that while it produced as many episodes as VU - sixteen - only fourteen made it on air. The fact that it was savaged by critics for bland writing and a horrifically tone-deaf case of "The Beautiful" variant of Eagleland in the midst of two deeply unpopular wars didn't help.
