- Acting for Two:
- The late Tomoko Kawakami voiced Annette, Emily and Pichi
- In the dub of season 2, Mike and Pichi were both voiced by Tiffany Grant
- Banned in China: Beijing banned the manga from being retailed throughout China due to its themes as of 2015.
- Breakthrough Hit: Those Who Hunt Elves was the series that launched Yu Yagami's career, prior to this, he did a few one shots and briefly lived in poverty.
- Creator's Favorite: In the Mexican Spanish dub, Junpei is the favorite character of his voice actor, Enrique Cervantes, partly due to his Idiot Hero tendences and partly because he is pretty different to the previous roles he did, as he normally voices jerks, villains or very unpleasant people.
- One-Book Author: While Hideki Tsutsumi is a successful music producer, the anime adaptation of Those Who Hunt Elves is his only soundtrack credit. Season 2's secondary composer, Tsuyoshi Yokoyama also has no other credits to his name, and there's no other information about him.
- The Other Darrin: The first season was dubbed for VHS in 1999, but the second wasn't dubbed until the show was released on DVD in 2003. By that point, Jessica Calvello had moved to New York and cut ties with ADV note , so Shelley Calene-Black took over as Celcia.
- The tank Mihke was voiced by Joe Jaworski until episode 9 and then Christopher Bourque for the next three episodes until Tiffany Grant took over for Season 2.
- Some supporting characters were also recast between the first and second seasons:
- Einal: Bob Elliott -> Rob Bundy
- Beenal: Lew Temple -> the late Randy Sparks
- The judge: Mike Kleinheinz -> Jay Hickman
- Magistrate: Alissa Alban -> Monica Rial
- Also the ADR directors changed as well Tristan MacAvery directed episodes 1-4 prior to his falling out with Matt Greenfield, episodes 5-13 were directed by the infamous Steven Foster note , and finally season 2 was directed by Janice Williams.
- On the Japanese side while none of the cast changed, the directors did, season 1 was directed by Kazuyoshi Katayama while season 2 was directed by Hiroshi Fukutomi.
- Those Two Actors:
- Kotono Mitsuishi (Celcia), the late Tomoko Kawakami (Annette, Emily & Pichi) and Takehito Koyasu (Andy) would later work together on Revolutionary Girl Utena as Juri Arisugawa, Utena Tenjou and Touga Kiryuu respectively.
- Kotono Mitsuishi and Minami Takayama (Rapier) previously worked together on Yaiba and would later work together again on Case Closed.
- Kotono Mitsuishi, Tomokazu Seki (Junpei), Yuko Miyamura (Ritsuko), Fumihiko Tachiki (Judge), Takehito Koyasu and the late Motomu Kiyokawa (Einal) previously worked together on Neon Genesis Evangelion and would later reprise their roles note in the Rebuild movies.
- Kotono Mitsuishi, Kae Araki (Colleena) and Michie Tomizawa (Airi) were also working together as Usagi Tsukino, Chibi-Usa and Rei Hino respectively at the time this show aired and would later reunite in Oruchuban Ebichu as the titular Ebichu, Watanabe-san and the Office Lady respectively with Tomokazu Seki joining them as the Office Lady's lazy boyfriend.
- Tomokazu Seki and Kotono Mitsuishi have also worked together in MAZE★The Megaburst Space (as two halves of the same character), Gundam Seed Destiny, Great Teacher Onizuka and Pretty Cure All Stars note .
