• The Cast Showoff: Nancy Kwan had dance training, which she incorporated into her fight scenes in the film.
• Colbert Bump: The film got a big boost from being featured in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
• Completely Different Title:
  • In Spanish, while the film was released in Latin America as Las demoledoras, which is a fairly close translation (it roughly means "The Wreckers" or "The Demolishers"), it was released in Spain as La mansión de los siete placeres, which translates to "The Mansion of the Seven Pleasures". While this may seem to be done to cash in on the drop-dead gorgeous women of the cast, it could also be because the film's Working Title actually was The House of Seven Joys, and this was a case of Recursive Translation.
  • The Italian title is Missione Compiuta Stop. Bacioni, Matt Helm, which translates to Mission Accomplished Stop. Big Kisses, Matt Helm.
  • The European Portuguese title is Perigo em Cada Curva, which in English is Danger at Every Turn. Doesn't seem to have much to do with the movie, but it should be noted that there's a pun involving "curva", which means both "turn" and "curve", as in the curvy women Matt hangs out with, and who indeed put him in a lot of danger, intentionally or otherwise.
  • The Brazilian Portuguese title is Secret Weapon Versus Matt Helm.
  • In French-speaking territories, it's some variation of Matt Helm Settles His Accounts.
  • In Finland, it's Matt Helm in the Gold Trap.
• Fake Nationality:
  • It isn't clear whether Freya is Danish or British (the movie gives evidence for both), but she's played by American Sharon Tate with her American accent.
  • While two of Contini's henchwomen are within appearing to be of the same nationality (or at least ethnicity) of her characters (the seemingly German Linka Karensky is played by German Elke Sommer, and the seemingly Chinese Wen Yu-Rang is played by Nancy Kwan, who is of Chinese descent), the seemingly Spanish Lola Medina played by American Tina Louise sticks out like a sore thumb.
• The Other Darrin: MacDonald was played by James Gregory in the previous three Matt Helm films; John Larch replaced him due to disputes over salary.
• Production Posse: Nigel Green (Contini) amd Elke Sommer (Linka) had previously worked together in Deadlier Than the Male, another spy film that spoofed James Bond, in similar roles (Green as the Big Bad and Sommer as his main henchwoman). Ironically, in it the protagonist makes a joke at Sommer's character telling her that Green's character is her boyfriend, which is what his character actually is in this movie.
• Working Title: The House of Seven Joys.
