- Completely Different Title: The Swedish title pitches it as the third film in Douglas and Turner's previous franchise; Romancing the Stone was titled Den vilda jakten på stenen (The Wild Chase After The Stone), Jewel Of The Nile was The Wild Chase After The Jewel and so War Of The Roses became... The Wild Chase After Happiness.
- Cut Song: Phil Collins was tapped to compose a song for the film, eventually becoming "Something Happened On The Way To Heaven". By the time Collins finished recording, the offer of composing a song for the film had been taken back. Instead, the track can be found on Collins's 1989 album ...But Seriously.
