• Actor Allusion: A few scattered throughout the fic, almost all of them about who else but Tara Strong.
  • At one point, Twinkle claims something is "Disasteriffic".
  • Twinkle at one point manages to perform a Stealth Hi/Bye, and becomes a cape wearing superhero, like a certain vigilante of the night.
  • Whenever Twinkle teleports, there's always a loud "bloink" sound, a reference to the X-Men character Blink, who was voiced by Strong in X-Men: Legends II.
  • Twinkle accidentaly ages herself by a few years, causing her powers to go out of control, not unlike Sari Sumdac.
  • When Twilight Sparkle compliments Comet Chaser, she quotes Mary-Jane Watson. Guess who played her in Ultimate Spider-Man (2012).
  • While ruminating on the origins on Ponyville, Twinkle wonders why they called it that, and whether Tim or Townsville were taken.
  • During the Mushroom Samba inflicted on the Changelings, descriptions are given for what each of the Mane Six look like to them, finish on Twilight Sparkle, who looks like a pile of bubbles.
  • There is also one given to Princess Celestia. At one point she apparently disguised herself as a member of the Royal Guard, an incredibly talented pony named Nova. Celestia's VA voiced Mira Nova in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
• Creator Backlash: The writer has stated they strongly dislike Chapter 64.
• Shrug of God: As to who Wisp's father could be. However, the writer and story both confirm that it's not Shining Armor.
• Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: The author admits to doing this more than once.
