  • The end credits list Gary Coleman as a special guest even though he did not appear in the finished episode, in person or as a voice.
• Edited for Syndication: All of the additional scenes with the badger were removed from reruns.
• The Other Darrin: While Roger Daltrey and John Entwisle play themselves, Pete Townshend is voiced by his brother Paul. Pete had assumed that he was going to be played by a sound alike and was too busy to do it himself by the time he found out.
• Write What You Know: The story, while not written by him, was inspired by staff writer Don Payne's stories about the town where his mother lived, where one side would always be spreading rumors about the other.
