Trivia / The Prayer Warriors

Go To

  • Accidentally-Correct Writing: When Percy denies that Zeus is his father. In canon, Poseidon is.
  • Creator Breakdown: Starting from the beginning in The Evil Gods I on.
  • Dear Negative Reader: Thomas frequently begins chapters by saying that his critics are going to Hell for "mocking" him.
  • Died During Production: In 2019, Noah posted a review on a repost of the story stating that Thomas had died in 2012 and that the repost was done by someone else. But then in 2020, it turned out that not only was Thomas not dead, but it's at least highly likely that he and Noah are the same person.
  • Missing Episode:
    • According to the author's profile, and mentioned a certain points in his fanfics, Thomas Brown was going to write fanfic titled The Prayer Warriors: Kingdom Under Shadow. It was going to be a Star Wars fanfic, but so far the author has not publish anything under this name.
    • Noah wrote a parody of the series titled The Player Worriers: God Is Dead & Jesus Is a Brat. He has since deleted it.
    • Noah also broke into Thomas' account and posted a bonus chapter to The Evil Gods II. It was deleted pretty fast, but Arcadiarika managed to salvage it and posted it to her liveblog.
  • Recycled Script: The Titans Strike Back seemed to be going in the same direction as Battle with the Witches, with Hogwarts re-established, and Michael and his Christians planning on doing The Infiltration again.
  • Trolling Creator: Lots of times.
    • Thomas and Ebony have often admitted to being Trolls on their FanFiction.Net and DeviantArt accounts, only to retract their statements and blame the fake(?) confessions on hackers.
    • After his de-conversion, Noah has posted several Troll Fics that satirize the Prayer Warriors series. They were usually deleted in a day or two, unfortunately.
    • The most epic trolling occurred in early 2013 when Ebony claimed on her FanFiction.Net account that Thomas had died. Indeed, it seemed likely, as Thomas had stopped writing fics and even stopped tweeting. But then in late 2014, Thomas made a new FanFiction.Net account and reposted his first four fanfics. He also started tweeting again in 2015.
    • In 2020, it was discovered that not only was the fic a Troll Fic, but that the real writer had created several accounts dedicated to criticizing the fic.
