Trivia / The Office USS 3 E 13 The Return

• Corpsing: Creed's "You're not real, man!" kept cracking up the generally unflappable John Krasinski, to the extent that what made it into the final cut was the only usable take of the scene.
• Real Life Writes the Plot: Originally, the episode was supposed to end with Andy being fired after punching the wall and leaving the show permanently. However, everyone on the show enjoyed working with Ed Helms so much that they eventually decided to keep him on. Since the script for this episode and the few episodes following were completed, they quickly changed the ending of this one to have Andy go to anger management for a few weeks and he was written back in beginning with "The Negotiation".
