Trivia / The Last Days of FOXHOUND

  • Accidentally-Correct Writing: In the comic titled "This Is Not How Cryptology Works", Nano Jackal uses her nanomachines to hack into Baker's account by running a program that types in every nine character combination into his password feed. Despite the title, this is a legitimate method called Brute-Forcing. The time that it took to do all that (three minutes and twenty-nine seconds) is artistic licence, though.
  • Outdated by Canon: To a large degree as of Metal Gear Solid 4, though not including the last page.note  Also happened due to MGS3, which came out during the comic's production and necessitated some re-writes. The author predicted it would happen yet again when MGS4 was released. He finished the comic twelve days before the game was released. He was later proven right, and MGSV's revelations and Miller's injuries in Ground Zeroes render it further incompatible.
