• Cross-Dressing Voices: Ned (male) is voiced by Janet James (female).
• Fake Australian: The titular brothers are both voiced by British actors faking Australian accents.
• No Export for You: In Albania, only Outback Christmas was dubbed, leaving the remainder of the series unaired there.
• One-Hit Wonder: This was the only production co-produced and distributed by Spellbound Entertainment, who went into administration in 2013 and the rights to the series went back to the show's creator the following year.
