- Dawn of an Era: The very first game ever to be recorded with live commentary by the player, way back in 2007 (the video was later uploaded to YouTube in 2011) by Something Awful user Slowbeef. The concept caught like wildfire.
- What Could Have Been:
- Early development of the game started as a massive MMORPG called Campaign. Over time, Will Harvey started to minimize the game down to a dungeon, and started to develop it into more of an action-styled game.
- Originally, you could choose other classes aside from a wizard, such as an elf or a warrior, but as the development team got more invested into writing a coherent plot, it was kept as a single wizard class to keep things on track.
- Talks for a sequel had come up at one point but the development crew had decided to move on from games, focusing more on communication software.
