- Actor Allusion: In Under New Management's pre-show, William has signed The Mighty Ducks, an ice hockey team.
- Cut Song: The instrumental "Barcarolle" by Jacques Offenbach was removed from the Disneyland and WDW versions in the 1990s to improve the pacing.
- No Export for You:
- The "Under New Management" version spent its entire existence in the Florida park.
- The "Get the Fever!" version only ran in Tokyo Disneyland. "Stitch Presents Aloha E Komo Mai!" is also only in that park (and considering that American fans dislike Stitch due to his own (since-closed) American ride being a Replacement Scrappy, it's probably going to stay Japan-only).
- The Other Darrin: In "Under New Management", Pierre was voiced by Jerry Orbach instead of Ernie Newton, who died two years before that version of the ride opened. In addition, Michael Gough voices Zazu instead of Rowan Atkinson.
- Role Reprise: Wally Boag, Fulton Burley, and Thurl Ravenscroft reprised their roles as José, Michael, and Fritz in "Under New Management". Gilbert Gottfried also reprised his role of Iago for that attraction.
- What Could Have Been: During the 1980s, an overhaul of the show was proposed with Ted Danson, Bette Midler, Woody Harrelson, Danny DeVito, and Rhea Perlman voicing new bird characters.
