Executive Meddling: As was typical in the Cold War era, the cast and credit names are anglicized to obscure the film's foreign origins note For example, The director, Alexander Ptushko became "Gregg Sebellious", Eve Kivi becomes "Nina Anderson" and Andris Oshin became the hilariously Dave Ryder-esque macho-named "Jon Powers". The only one accurately credited is the story's author - Elias Lönnrot - and they even removed the umlauts from his name!
