Non-Singing Voice: In the special, John Widelock does Chuck E.'s speaking voice. Since he couldn't sing well when recording the song "Teamwork" (with Chuck E.'s inability to sing being a Running Gag in early showtapes), Scott Wilson (who voiced Munch at the time) was cast to sing for him. Wilson nailed the song in one take, impressing Bushnell enough that he was cast as the character's speaking and singing voice on the spot.
Role Reprise: John Widelock (Chuck E.) and Scott Paulin (Jasper) reprise their roles from the showtapes.
What Could Have Been: As stated on the main page, the special was planned to air on NBC, but was shelved due to the Video Game Crash. It also would've had full animation instead of the slideshow shown (which was originally a pilot shown to NBC).
