  • Early on in the film, Santa explains to Prune that the reason he gives presents to the children is that so the children learn the value of giving themselves. Later, during the Darkest Hour, Santa is proven right, when the children learn about Santa's plight and all give him their money to help them pay the rent for Prune.
  • When Prune has his Heel–Face Turn, he is overjoyed to receive the sailboat he wanted since he was a child. He then proceeds to give the sailboat to another child.
  • Santa in this film also has Mrs. Claus come along for his journey about the world and is seen helping him deliver presents.
  • During the closing of the film, Blossom allows the guard dog in the house, too.
