• Creator Backlash: In an interview included on the film's Blu-Ray release, lead actor and screenwriter George Eastman seems to indicate that he generally looks back on the film with embarrassment, although he does speak highly of Joe D'Amato as a person.

  • Klaus, whose name seems to imply he is German, is played by Italian actor George Eastman.
  • In the remake, the Greek Nikos Karamanalis is played by the German Andreas Schnaas.
