- B-Team Sequel: Ferrari Racing Legends was published by Rombax Games rather than Atari, whom they got the license from.
- Dummied Out: There exists a movie in Eve of Destruction named "Blindfold Race", which cannot be unlocked or viewed in-game. Exactly why it's not unlockable (or why it's even there) is unknown.
- Executive Meddling: It's said that Ferrari itself vetoed realistic damage and customization options beside the color of the cars for Ferrari Racing Legends.
- Market-Based Title: This was done several times.
- Test Drive Off-Road 2 was titled as Test Drive 4X4 outside North America and Japan.
- Test Drive Off-Road 3 was titled 4X4 World Trophy, without the Test Drive name, in Europe. Europe also dropped the Test Drive name for Off-Road Wide Open.
- TD Overdrive: Brotherhood of Speed was titled just Test Drive in North America.
- Eve of Destruction was renamed Driven to Destruction in Europe and Australia, while also dropping the Test Drive name in the process.
- No Export for You: The Xbox version of Eve of Destruction was never released outside of North America.
- Saved from Development Hell: Development for Ferrari Racing Legends started as early as 2007.
- What Could Have Been:
- The same team that developed Test Drive Off-Road 3 in 1999 would also develop a motorcycle-exclusive entry titled Test Drive Cycles, but it was cancelled in June 2000. However, a Game Boy Color version was released.
- A Nintendo 64 localisation of Michelin Rally Masters: Race of Champions known as Test Drive Rally was also planned, but this was cancelled in February 2000.
