• Keep Circulating the Tapes: While the first Super Star Wars is available on PS4 and PS Vita via the Play Station Store (the former version can even be played on PS5), The other two games, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, have never been rereleased outside of the Wii Shop Channel which is now closed.
• What Could Have Been:
  • A level inside the trash compactor with the Dianoga as a boss was planned for the first game, but was scrapped due to memory issues.
  • In 1994 a PC Port was developed by a Danish company called Brainbug, with a 99% complete version floating around the web, with the entire game built from the ground up with better visuals and sound. Unfortunately, due to a corporate restructuring in 1995, LucasArts interest in the project waned and it was quietly cancelled.
  • There was also a Sega Genesis port being developed and nearly finished, but LucasArts moved the project to the Sega CD for its superior graphical capabilities. Ultimately, neither port ended up being released.
  • Presumably, Super Empire Strikes Back and Super Return Of The Jedi were going to be ported to the PS4, but for whatever reason, this hasn't happened.
